Built like a proper track, not a gadgetThe ATK series is an extruded aluminum track designed for use with A-Line track fixtures, and the ATK12-BN is the 12-foot nominal length in a brushed nickel finish. The body is constructed of 0.06" extruded aluminum with a 0.045" PVC bus bar support holding 12 gauge round bus bars — a solid, rigid channel that stays straight across a long ceiling run instead of sagging or twisting. A polarity groove on the face of the track indicates the location of the grounding conductor, a small detail that saves electricians real time when several sections and feeds go up on the same ceiling. The low-profile thermoplastic track section conceals the copper electrical conductors, so what you see from below is a slim, tidy line in a warm metallic finish that blends with stainless appliances, nickel hardware and modern cabinetry.
Electrical and installation detailsThis is a
single circuit power distribution system designed to supply lighting units flexibly. The single hot and neutral conductors are rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V, which gives you generous headroom for a full row of
LED track heads on one run. The track is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware, and suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately — rods, canopy kits and aircraft cable sets are listed in the accessories section of the specification sheet. Power feeds and connectors are ordered separately as well, which is what makes track so versatile: a live end feed, an L, T, X or centre feed, an I connector or a flexible connector lets you shape straight runs, corners and continuous perimeters from the same components. It is
cULus listed and covered by a 5 year warranty.
