ATK SERIES FOR RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS - ATK12-SL

SKU: ATK12-SL

Brand: LITELINE

Give your room the freedom to change its mind. The ATK Series single circuit extruded aluminum track — model ATK12-SL in a clean silver finish — is the 12-foot backbone of a flexible track lighting system you can aim, add to and rearrange any time. People look for it as a lighting rail, track rail, track bar, ceiling track or simply "track lighting heads track", and it does exactly what you expect: it carries power along the ceiling so your LED track heads can slide anywhere along the run. Whether you are lighting artwork over a living room sofa, a kitchen island, a retail display wall, a gallery, a salon or an office, one long continuous run replaces a whole series of fixed fixtures — and it lets you re-aim the light when the furniture, the shelving or the merchandise moves.

The ATK series is an extruded aluminum track for use with A-Line track fixtures, available in 2', 4', 6', 8' and 12' nominal length; this SKU is the 12' silver version. It is constructed of 0.06" extruded aluminum with a 0.045" PVC bus bar support holding 12 gauge round bus bars, and a polarity groove on the face of the track indicates the location of the grounding conductor — a small detail installers appreciate. The single circuit power distribution system uses single hot and neutral conductors rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V, with copper electrical conductors concealed in a thermo-plastic, low-profile track section measuring 5⁄8" (16mm) by 1 3⁄8" (35mm). It is cULus listed and backed by a 5 year warranty.

This track is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware, and suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately, so it works on drywall ceilings, beams, shop ceilings and open commercial spaces alike. The system is compatible with all A-Line® and Juno® style track fixtures, accessories and connectors — pair it with heads such as the 8.5W LED track head ATF7509-DTW-38-BK or the 8.5W LED track head ATF7509-DTW-38-WH. Need a different finish or a shorter run? See the ATK12-BK, the ATK12-WH or the 4-foot ATK04-BN. Plan your run, pick your heads, and light it your way.

Built to be a workhorse
The ATK series is an extruded aluminum track designed for use with A-Line track fixtures, and the ATK12-SL is the 12-foot nominal length in silver. The body is constructed of 0.06" extruded aluminum, with a 0.045" PVC bus bar support holding 12 gauge round bus bars — a rigid, straight channel that keeps contact solid along the whole run instead of sagging between supports. A polarity groove is located on the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor, so orientation is obvious before the first screw goes in. The finished section is low-profile at 5⁄8" (16mm) tall and 1 3⁄8" (35mm) wide, which keeps the ceiling line discreet in a living room, a boutique or a meeting room.

Electrical and safety
This is a single circuit power distribution system designed to supply lighting units flexibly. Single hot and neutral conductors are rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V, and the copper electrical conductors are concealed inside the thermo-plastic, low-profile track section. With LED track heads drawing only a few watts each, that capacity lets you load a long run with plenty of fixtures while staying well within the circuit. The track is cULus listed and covered by a 5 year warranty.

Installation and compatibility
The track is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware; for open ceilings, suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately, such as the RODR 12" hollow stem rod, the RODF hollow suspension rod kit, the ATKA250 4.75" sloped ceiling canopy kit for track down-rods 2"-96", the ATKM420 track suspension kit with 180" aircraft cable or the ATKM421 universal kit with 250" AC. Power and layout come from the connector family: ATKP09 single circuit live end power feed, ATKP11 live end power feed with canopy cover, ATKP10 wired end power feed with 15' plug-in cord, ATKP02 'L' and 'I' feed, ATKP03 'T' feed, ATKP04-1C 'X' feed, ATKP08 center feed, ATKC01 'I' connector and ATKC05 flexible connector. Current limiters (ATKPCL-06-1C, ATKPCL-09-1C, ATKPCL-11-1C, 1~14 amp options) are also part of the line. Note that the 12-foot option is not available in the US; an 8-foot section with a 4-foot section and a joiner achieves the same run. The system is compatible with all A-Line® and Juno® style track fixtures, accessories and connectors, including APOLLO LED, SORA LED, TEARDROP, ATLAS, DELTA, FLEX, FOCUS (ATF8010), DINE (T-LEDDNG), Flight (ATF7607 and ATF7610) and heads such as ATF7250, ATF7415, ATF7425, ATF7509, ATF7545 and ATF7630.

Where it earns its keep, and what's documented
A single 12-foot run is ideal for a long gallery wall, a retail perimeter, a restaurant banquette, a boardroom table, a basement rec room or a workshop bench — anywhere Canadian ceilings are long and the layout keeps evolving. Contractors like it for tenant fit-ups because one feed and one straight run replace multiple junction boxes; homeowners like it because adding a head later takes seconds. Start with compatible heads such as the 8.5W LED track head ATF7509-DTW-38-WH or the 8.5W LED track head ATF7509-DTW-38-BK, and match finishes across a project with the ATK12-BN or the ATK12-BK. The full ATK12-SL spec sheet, with the technical drawings and the ordering guide, is in the Documentation tab of this page.
