Looking for a recessed light that finally gets it right — sharp square trim, true colour, and a finish built for real-world bathrooms, kitchens and covered porches? The 3.5" LUNA SQ FIXED (SKU RA35S-12F-90BN) is a fixed-square recessed downlight in Brushed Nickel, the kind of fixture people search for as a "pot light", "recessed pot light" or "square recessed fixture" when they want a clean, modern ceiling look instead of the old round can. It's an all-in-one LED unit — no separate housing and trim to juggle — designed to drop straight into new construction or renovation ceilings for a crisp, low-profile finish.

Under the hood you get 12W of LED power with a fantastic 90 CRI, so skin tones, kitchen countertops and bathroom tile all read true instead of washed-out. This model gives you a 27K-50K colour temperature selection, letting you dial in the exact mood — warm and cozy or crisp and bright — right at install. It's fully dimmable for late-night ambiance or full task lighting on demand, rated IC for direct contact with insulation (a must for Canadian attics and ceilings), and carries a WETLOC wet-location rating so it can go where moisture lives — showers, soffits, covered decks. Add ENERGY STAR and Title 24 compliance and you've got a fixture that's efficient, code-friendly, and ready for utility rebate programs.

This is the fixture for anyone upgrading a condo bathroom, finishing a basement, lighting a kitchen island area, or fitting out a small commercial space that needs dependable, good-looking downlighting that survives Canadian humidity and cold snaps. Contractors love it for spec compliance (IC, wet location, ENERGY STAR, Title 24 in one box); homeowners love the brushed nickel finish and the flexible colour temperature. Prefer black or white trim, or a fixed 27K/30K/35K version instead of the tunable 27K-50K? Check out the 3.5" Luna Fixed 12W 30K 90CRI Brushed Nickel, the 3.5" Luna Fixed 12W 35K 90CRI Brushed Nickel or the 3.5" Luna LED Square Recessed Fixture in White. Grab the RA35S-12F-90BN today and give your ceiling the upgrade it deserves.

Ready to move beyond the tired round can light? The 3.5" LUNA SQ FIXED (RA35S-12F-90BN) is a fixed square LED recessed fixture built as a single integrated unit — the housing, LED engine and trim are combined, so there's no separate trim to buy, no mismatched finishes, and a much faster install for anyone tired of juggling parts on a ladder.

Light quality that actually looks good
With a 90 CRI rating, colours stay accurate under this fixture — think true whites in a kitchen, natural skin tone in a bathroom mirror, and rich tile colour in a shower surround. The 27K-50K colour temperature range means the same fixture can be set to a warm, cozy glow or a crisp, energizing white depending on the room and the mood you're after, giving installers one SKU to stock instead of five. It's also fully dimmable, pairing with compatible dimmers for smooth low-end performance rather than flicker or buzz.

Built for real Canadian conditions
This fixture carries an IC rating, meaning it's certified for direct contact with insulation — critical in Canadian attics and exterior ceilings where energy codes demand tightly insulated envelopes. It's also rated for WETLOC wet locations, so it can be installed in showers, soffits, covered porches and other damp or exposed spots without worry. On top of that, it's ENERGY STAR certified and meets Title 24 requirements, which matters for contractors working to energy code and for homeowners chasing utility rebates.

Where it fits in your project
Use it as the primary downlight in a renovated bathroom, above a kitchen sink or island, along a hallway, or over a covered exterior entryway where the wet-location rating earns its keep. Because it's part of the LUNA family, it lines up finish-for-finish with the black and white versions and with the 30K and 35K fixed colour temperature models, so a contractor doing multiple units on one job can mix trims by room while keeping the same performance across the board — see the 3.5" Luna LED Square Recessed Fixture in Black and 3.5" Luna Fixed 12W 800LM 90CRI White for matching options in the same series.
