Looking for a sleek, reliable 3.5" recessed downlight that just works, in the bathroom, the kitchen soffit, or a covered porch? The 3.5" LUNA Fixed (SKU: RA35S-12F-DTW-90BK) is a compact LED recessed fixture built for exactly that. Also searched as a pot light, recessed light or recessed gimbal-style downlight, this fixed-position unit gives you clean, glare-free illumination without the bulky housing of older recessed cans. It's the kind of fixture contractors reach for when a client wants dependable basement recessed lighting or a wet-rated light for a soffit, without complicating the install.

This little fixture packs real performance: 12W of LED output at a high 90 CRI for true, vibrant colour rendering, with DTW dim-to-warm technology that lets the light shift toward a cozy warm glow as it's dimmed, just like an incandescent bulb used to. It's fully dimmable for setting the perfect mood, and its IC-rated housing means it's safe to install directly against insulation, a must for energy-conscious Canadian homes. Rated WETLOC for wet locations, it stands up to humidity and moisture in bathrooms, soffits, and covered outdoor areas, and it's Title 24 (T24) compliant for projects that require it. The finish is a sleek black trim that disappears into the ceiling for a clean, modern look.

Whether you're finishing a basement, upgrading a bathroom, lighting a kitchen soffit, or wiring a covered porch or business entryway across Canada, the LUNA Fixed 12W is a smart, low-fuss choice. It pairs perfectly within the same LUNA family for whole-home consistency, see the related 3.5" LUNA Fixed 12W 30K black and 3.5" LUNA Fixed 12W 35K black if you need other colour temperatures for the same job. Add this reliable recessed downlight to your next project today.

The 3.5" LUNA Fixed (RA35S-12F-DTW-90BK) is a compact, purpose-built LED recessed downlight designed for spaces where reliability and light quality both matter, from residential renovations to light commercial fit-outs. Its fixed, non-adjustable design keeps installation simple and the finished ceiling line clean, no visible trim ring gaps or awkward gimbal housings to worry about.

Light quality that shows the details
With 90 CRI, this fixture renders colours the way they're meant to be seen, true whites, rich woods, accurate skin tones, which matters in kitchens, bathrooms, and retail spaces where appearance counts. The DTW (Dim-to-Warm) feature is a standout: as you lower the dimmer, the color temperature gradually warms, replicating the familiar behaviour of a dimmed incandescent bulb. It's a small detail that makes a big difference in living rooms, dining areas, and hospitality settings where ambiance is everything.

Built for real installs
This LUNA Fixed is IC-rated, meaning it can be installed in direct contact with insulation, ideal for well-insulated Canadian homes without needing extra clearance boxes. It also carries a WETLOC wet-location rating, so it's suited for bathrooms, covered porches, soffits, and other areas exposed to moisture. For jurisdictions requiring energy code compliance, it meets Title 24 (T24) standards. The fixture is fully dimmable, giving electricians and homeowners flexibility to pair it with standard dimmer switches for scene control.
