The RT05 Vertical Louver Trim in White (SKU: LS-RT05-VLVR-WT) from LumenstarLED is the finishing ring, or recessed trim, made specifically for the RT05HV and RT05LV light engines. People look for it under a lot of names — louver trim, anti-glare trim, step light face plate, recessed light trim for a pot light — but the job is always the same: it snaps onto the light engine, closes the opening in the wall or ceiling, and shapes how you see the light. The vertical louver blades block off-angle views of the LED source while letting the beam out generously, so you get the glow on the floor, the stair or the wall without the hot spot in your eyes.

This is a trim, not a complete fixture, so the electrical performance comes from the RT05 platform it completes. The RT05 screwless step light family runs at 100V AC or 12V AC/DC, draws 2W / 2.2W and delivers 145 lumens, with a CRI greater than 90 that keeps wood grain, stone and paint colours looking true. Light quality and glare control

Installation and compatibility
This trim fits the RT05HV and RT05LV light engines — nothing else. Decide early which engine you need: the high-voltage version for a 100V AC circuit, or the low-voltage one for a 12V AC/DC run driven from a remote supply, which is often the easier path in stair risers and around water. Rough in to the 4-3/4" × 2-7/8" (121 × 73 mm) cutout, land the 12" (30 cm) leads in an accessible junction, seat the engine, then click the louver trim on last so it stays clean through drywall and paint. The IP67 rating and the -20°C~+45°C operating range mean the RT05 handles damp, dusty and cold locations, which is why it turns up in Canadian garages, covered entries, unheated stairwells and exterior steps as readily as in a finished hallway.
