Installation and compatibility
Rough in the opening to 4-3/4" × 2-7/8" (121 × 73 mm), run your feed to the 12" (30 cm) lead, seat the light engine, then finish with the scoop trim. Because the trim ships separately from the engine, you can decide the look late in the project — black for a dark stair core, another finish elsewhere — without changing the rough-in. Confirm your voltage first: the RT05HV is the 100V AC version and the RT05LV is the 12V AC/DC version fed from a low-voltage supply.
