It suits hallway runs, closets, bathrooms, bedrooms, staircases and accent rows over kitchen counters, and because the trim size is 3 and 4 inches interchangeable, one fixture can serve two different ceiling cut-outs on the same job.

Under the white trim sits an 8W LED module producing 784 lm in a focused 40° beam angle, with a CRI >80 so paint colours, wood grain and skin tones read naturally. A toggle switch on the junction box sets the tunable colour temperature to 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K, so you can keep bedrooms warm and kitchens crisp using the very same box. It runs on 110–130VAC with a power factor >0.94, is Triac base dimmable for soft evening light, and is Type IC Rated and approved for damp locations. Built around a gimbal
What sets this recessed downlight apart from a fixed pot light is the gimbal: the optic tilts inside the housing, so you can aim the 40° beam at a stone wall, a bookcase, a shower niche or a row of artwork instead of washing the floor. The housing is compact — 45 mm (1.8") and 63 mm (2.5") deep with a 33 mm (1.33") and 108 mm (4.25") footprint per the technical drawing — which makes it friendly to shallow plenums and tight joist bays. The trim is white and the same platform is offered in black and brushed aluminum, so the look stays coherent from room to room.

Light quality you can adjust
Colour temperature is selected on site with a toggle switch located on the junction box: upper position 2700K, second position 3000K, middle 3500K, fourth 4000K, lower 5000K. That means one CCT selectable downlight covers warm living rooms and cool work areas without reordering. With a CRI >80, finishes and merchandise keep their true character, and 784 lumens from 8 watts gives you a generous amount of usable light from a small aperture.

Installation and dimming compatibility
Wire to a 110–130VAC circuit, set the CCT toggle before you push the fixture up, then let the spring clips hold it against the ceiling. Being Type IC Rated, it can sit in contact with insulation, and the damp location approval covers bathrooms and covered porches. For dimming, use a Triac (forward phase) dimmer from the tested list, which includes Lutron S-603P, CTCL-153P, TG600P, DV600P, LG600P, SCL-153P, MAW-600, LGCL-153P, 7SCL-153P, 600PH, DV-600P, 6838, CTELV-303P, CTCL-153PD, plus Leviton 6633-P, 1C33L1, 6674 and 6838; the Lutron MS-VP600G is listed as N/A for dimming. Mounting plates are available for both apertures: LCPLATE-3 for 3 inch and LCPLATE-4 for 4 inch.
