Built to simplify low-voltage puck wiringThe whole point of a puck light system is speed, and a multi-port hub is what protects that speed. Instead of daisy-chaining fixture to fixture and hoping the last one in line behaves, this
8-port LED puck light splitter gives every puck its own dedicated port back to a single distribution point. Troubleshooting becomes obvious: if one puck is dark, you unplug and move it to a free port to isolate the problem in seconds, with no tools and no cutting. For installers, that means a cleaner finish behind the toe-kick or inside the cabinet gable, and far fewer callbacks caused by a loose twist-on connection.

Planning your run and your loadEach of the eight ports carries up to
3A, which is generous headroom for the small loads typical of
LED puck lights. The practical planning rule is simple: total the current draw of the pucks you intend to connect, confirm it stays within the capacity of the power supply feeding the splitter, and keep each individual port within its
3A limit. Because the splitter distributes rather than converts, the driver or power supply you choose still sets the system voltage and the overall wattage available — match the pucks, the supply and the splitter to the same low-voltage system and everything simply plugs together. Always follow the puck manufacturer's instructions and the Canadian Electrical Code for the supply side of the installation.
Installation tips that make a differenceMount the splitter where you can reach it later: the back of a sink cabinet, the inside of a gable, above a bulkhead or beside the transformer. Leave a small service loop at each connection so a future cabinet adjustment doesn't pull a plug out. Drill your wire pass-throughs before the pucks go up, dress the cables along the back edge of the cabinet with clips or staples rated for low-voltage cable, and label the ports if the run is long — your future self will thank you. When a puck sits farther away than the factory lead allows, add the
2M extension cable for LED puck lights rather than splicing; it keeps every connection plug-and-play and keeps the system serviceable.
Where it earns its keepIn a kitchen, one hub can feed an entire counter of
under-cabinet puck lights plus a pair inside a glass-door display cabinet. In retail, it lights shelving bays, jewellery cases and back-bar displays from a single tidy point. Contractors use it in closets and pantries, mudroom millwork, basement wet bars, salon and clinic stations, reception desks and small office casework — anywhere a cluster of small fixtures needs one clean feed. And when a project grows, you add pucks to the free ports instead of reopening the wiring.
