LED BULB B10 5W - LCB-B10-5W-30K

SKU: LCB-B10-5W-30K

Brand: LEDCO

Give your chandelier the flame it deserves. This LED B10 bulb — also called a B10 candelabra bulb, torpedo lamp or decorative flame-tip lamp — keeps the classic slim silhouette that open fixtures call for, so it looks right where the lamp itself is on display. With its small E12 candelabra base, it slips into tight shades, glass globes and mini-pendants that a standard A19 simply cannot fill. Think dining room chandeliers, hallway sconces, vanity bars, bathroom fixtures, wall lanterns and the little pendants over a kitchen island. SKU LCB-B10-5W-30K is the 3000K clear version, a warm white that reads cozy without going orange.

At just 5 W, this lamp delivers 500 lumens and replaces a 60 W incandescent, using up to eighty percent less energy than the lamp it retires. It runs on 120 V, with a 3000 K colour temperature, 80+ CRI so wood, fabrics and skin tones look natural, and a wide 330° beam angle that spreads light all around the fixture instead of shooting it one way. It is dimmable with compatible dimmers, damp location rated, and built on a low-flicker new-generation platform with flicker reduced down to 10% — far below the California T20 standard of 30% — for real eye comfort under an open shade. Rated life is 15,000 hours (L70), the clear glass cover shows off the lamp shape, maximum overall length is 3.78 inches, and it carries a 2-year limited warranty. Operating temperature range: -20 ˚C to +40 ˚C.

It shines in dining rooms, entryways, stairwells and bedrooms, in bathroom vanities and powder rooms, and in cafés, boutiques, salons and small hotels where the fixture is part of the décor — the damp location rating also suits covered porches and enclosed entries, a welcome detail through a Canadian winter. Instant-on at full brightness means no warm-up in a cold vestibule. Want a different mood or base? Compare the LED bulb B10 5W 2700K for a softer glow, the LED bulb B10 5W 4000K for a crisper white, or the LED bulb G30 5W 3000K globe for exposed-bulb fixtures. Relamp the whole chandelier at once and enjoy years of consistent, flicker-free light.

Built for fixtures where the bulb is part of the look
The B10 shape — the flame-tip or torpedo profile people search for as a B10 candelabra bulb — exists for one reason: it looks good on display. This lamp keeps that slender silhouette and adds a clear glass cover so the fixture reads like a traditional candle lamp, not a plastic retrofit. Maximum overall length is 3.78 inches, compact enough for small shades, chimney glass and tight chandelier arms. The solid-state build means no filament to shake loose on a ceiling fan light kit or a door-adjacent sconce, and very little heat inside enclosed shades.

Light quality and low flicker
Light output is 500 lumens at 3000 K, a warm white that flatters wood trim, brass and warm paint colours, with 80+ CRI for natural-looking fabrics and skin tones. The 330° beam angle means the glow wraps around the lamp instead of firing forward, which is exactly what a multi-arm chandelier or an upward-facing sconce needs. This is a new-generation low-flicker lamp with flicker reduced down to 10%, compared to 6.6% for traditional incandescent and far below the California T20 standard of 30% — a meaningful difference in rooms where people read, eat or work under the light for hours.

Installation and dimming
Installation is as simple as a bulb change: cut the power, let the old lamp cool, then thread the new one in gently until snug — never over-tighten a candelabra socket, since the small E12 base is easy to strip. On a dimmed circuit, confirm your LED-compatible dimmer and check its minimum load; a 5 W lamp draws very little, so a fixture with only one or two lamps may need a dimmer rated for low LED loads to avoid flicker or drop-out at the bottom of the range. When you relamp a chandelier, change every socket at once with the same model so colour temperature and brightness stay identical across all the arms. The damp location rating covers bathroom vanities, covered porches and sheltered entries, but not direct exposure to rain or snow.

Applications, family and documentation
Concrete examples: a six-arm dining chandelier that finally stops buzzing, hallway sconces in a condo corridor, a powder-room vanity fixture, café wall lights, boutique display pendants, or the mini-pendants over a kitchen island. Need another look for the same fixture family? The LED bulb B10 5W 2700K gives a warmer, candle-like tone, the LED bulb B10 5W 4000K a cooler, cleaner white, while the LED bulb G30 5W 3000K globe and the LED bulb A19 15W 4000K cover exposed-globe and general-purpose sockets elsewhere in the same project.
