Built to live outsideThe housing is a watertight
NEMA Type 4 enclosure, rated for indoor or outdoor use, which is the single most important detail for a Canadian installation. Sealed construction keeps out driving rain, blowing snow, road salt spray and the humidity that builds up in an unheated garage, while robust thermal management keeps performance consistent from a July heat wave to a February cold snap. Integrated cable management is part of the unit, so the 7 m cable coils back instead of dragging on the floor — less wear on the jacket, fewer trip hazards, and a connector you can holster cleanly when the car is gone.
Power, and how you get itThis
Level 2 EV charging station works over a 6A to 48A range. Installed with the NEMA 14-50P plug, it charges any EV up to 40 amps — you mount it, plug it in and charge, no rewiring of the unit itself. Hardwired by an electrician, it goes up to 48 amps for the fastest charge the unit delivers. That flexibility matters: a lot of homes already have a 14-50 receptacle in the garage from a dryer or a welder circuit, and a lot of others are better served by a clean hardwired run. Either way, a dedicated circuit sized by a licensed electrician is the starting point, and integrated safety protections guard against overcurrent, ground faults and surges.
Smart control from your phoneThe Watti Home connects to a free partner mobile app where you manage the charger, set your own
charging schedule and track your charging data and energy consumption. Scheduling is the quiet money-saver: you tell it to start when off-peak hours begin and it handles the rest, every night, without you thinking about it. The consumption history is also genuinely useful for a landlord or a small business that wants to know what a shared stall is actually drawing.

Where it goes, and what else to look atTypical projects: a single-family garage where the panel sits on the same wall, a carport with the unit on a pedestal or post, a driveway install on an exterior wall beside the door, a duplex or triplex with one stall per tenant, or a small shop, clinic or office giving employees and visitors a place to top up. Several mounting options let you adapt to the layout of the stall, and the compact profile keeps walkways clear. For a heavier-duty or shared-use scenario, compare with the
Watti Pro electric car charging station in the same family. The full
technical spec sheet for LCEVCHARGER-HOME is available in the Documentation tab — download it and hand it to your electrician before the site visit so the circuit, breaker and mounting height are settled in one trip.
