What is in the kit
The K1 Kit is a two-piece control system: the K1 rotating wall remote (the transmitter) and the E2-RF controller (the receiver). The remote is a rotating knob-style wall unit, 86mm x 86mm x 27mm, powered by a 3V CR2032 battery — no wiring, no wall box, no electrician. You simply mount it where a dimmer would naturally go, or leave it loose on a nightstand or a desk. The E2-RF controller, at 100.6mm x 40mm x 17.6mm, is compact enough to disappear inside a cabinet, behind a headboard or above a drop ceiling.
How the RF signal changes everything
Infrared remotes need to be pointed at the receiver. This one does not. The K1 uses 2.4GHz radio frequency with a 30m control distance that passes through walls, floors and furniture. That means the controller stays hidden in your TV stand, in a toe-kick or in the ceiling cavity while you turn the knob from across the room — or from another room entirely. It is a 1 zone system, so one remote drives one group of single colour LED strip lights as a single, perfectly synchronized zone.

Wiring and installation
The E2-RF wires in line between the low-voltage output of your power supply and your LED strip run, using a common anode output connection — the standard for single colour and CCT white tape. Use a standard, non-dimmable power supply: the dimming happens in the controller, not in the driver. DO NOT USE WITH A DIMMABLE POWER SUPPLY. Respect the output limits when you size your run — 6A per channel and Max 12A total (4A at 24V or 5A at 12V to comply with Class 2 requirements) — and mount the controller in a dry, ventilated spot, since it carries an iP20 rating and operates between -10~40°C. Then pair the wall remote to the controller and you are done.
Where it works, and the documentation
Think under-cabinet kitchen lighting, cove and ceiling details, basement stairs, bathroom vanities, home theatre risers, closets, display cabinets, bar shelving, retail counters, hotel rooms and office reception walls. It also drives low voltage LED pucks, not just tape light — anything single colour on a common anode connection within the output limits. For the full wiring diagram and the complete data, see the technical PDF (1 ZONE RF ROTATING WALL REMOTE AND CONTROLLER KIT FOR SINGLE COLOR) in the Documentation tab of this page. Both residential and commercial projects are fair game.
