When a small spotlight is not quite enough, step up to the Athena PAR30 spotlight, a line voltage track lighting head designed for PAR30 lamps. Adjustable, lightweight and high-styled, this exposed lamp design gives you the punch of a larger lamp with all the flexibility of track: aim it at merchandise walls, artwork, a staircase, a bar or a kitchen island. Also known as a track light head, a PAR30 track fixture or a track spotlight, model LCTL-ATH-PAR30-BK comes in a bold black finish that pairs beautifully with black track, exposed ducts and loft-style ceilings.

The body is constructed of die cast aluminum, which provides superior strength and rigidity, while softened edges add up to a low profile, designer aesthetic. A porcelain socket accepts 120V PAR30 lamps, 75 watts max, loaded from the rear, and a high temperature glass shield is included, mounted to the front of the fixture. With 90° of vertical rotation and 330° of horizontal rotation, the head offers a wide range of aiming possibilities and assures a secure lock on the angle position. The fixture is dimmable when used with electronic line voltage rated dimming controls only (120V / 60Hz input, 120V output, 75W maximum load), and it is cULus listed.

More lamp, same refined design
The ATHENA (model PAR221/30 on the spec sheet) is an adjustable, lightweight, high-styled, exposed lamp design, line voltage track lighting fixture, here sized for PAR30 lamps. This black version, LCTL-ATH-PAR30-BK, is constructed of die cast aluminum, which provides superior strength and rigidity, and its softened edges add up to a low profile aesthetic design. A high temperature glass shield is included and mounted to the front of the fixture, giving the head a finished look even though the lamp itself remains the star.

Lamping and light output
ATHENA provides rear load lamping into a porcelain socket made for 120V PAR30 lamps, 75 watts max. That larger lamp format is what makes a PAR30 head so useful: compared with the PAR20 version, it accepts a bigger lamp, ideal when the ceiling is higher or the display is wider. The light itself depends on the lamp you choose, so a PAR30 LED spot can make a single painting pop, while a flood lamp washes an entire shelving unit; pick warm white for restaurants and homes, neutral or cool white for retail and workshops.

Electrical and installation details
The fixture takes a 120V / 60Hz input and delivers a 120V output, with a 75W maximum load; it is cULus listed. It is dimmable when used with electronic line voltage rated dimming controls only, so combine dimmable lamps with a suitable dimmer. The vertical rotation of 90° and horizontal rotation of 330° provide a wide range of light source aiming possibilities, and the angle locks securely once set. The connector compatibility chart on the spec sheet shows the connector styles offered for the series; check it against your track before installing. Accessories should be ordered separately. Switch off the breaker before adding or moving heads, and have a qualified electrician install the track and its power feed.
