The Athena PAR20 spotlight is an adjustable, lightweight, high-styled line voltage track fixture designed for PAR20 lamps, so you decide the beam, the colour and the brightness. Known as a track lighting head, a track spot or a PAR20 track light, this exposed lamp design puts the focus on what matters: paintings, product shelves, a fireplace, a reception wall or a dining table. Model LCTL-ATH-PAR20-NB completes the Athena PAR20 range alongside the black and white versions, for homes, shops and offices.

Built from die cast aluminum for superior strength and rigidity, the Athena keeps a low profile thanks to its softened edges. Its porcelain socket accepts 120V PAR20 lamps up to 50 watts max, with rear load lamping that makes relamping simple, and a high temperature glass shield comes included, mounted to the front of the fixture. With 90° of vertical rotation and 330° of horizontal rotation, it offers a wide range of aiming possibilities, then locks securely on the chosen angle. It is dimmable with electronic line voltage rated dimming controls only, runs on a 120V / 60Hz input with a 50W maximum load, and is cULus listed.

An exposed lamp design with a refined profile
The ATHENA line voltage track lighting fixture (model PAR220/20 on the spec sheet) is adjustable, lightweight and high-styled. Its body is constructed of die cast aluminum, which provides superior strength and rigidity, and its softened edges add up to a low profile aesthetic design. This version, LCTL-ATH-PAR20-NB, shares that construction with the black and white Athena PAR20 heads. The front of the fixture carries an included high temperature glass shield, for a clean, finished look.

Choose your lamp, choose your light
Because the Athena is a PAR20 track light, its light output, beam spread and colour temperature depend on the lamp you install in the porcelain socket, made for 120V PAR20 lamps, 50 watts max. Rear load lamping makes changing lamps simple, and the directional light source allows for special aiming. Pick a warm white LED PAR20 for a cozy living room, a neutral white for a kitchen or workshop, a narrow spot for a sculpture or a flood for a shelving wall. Dimmable LED lamps also let you tune the mood of a restaurant or a home theatre in seconds.

Electrical and installation details
The fixture is rated for a 120V / 60Hz input and a 120V output, with a 50W maximum load, and it is cULus listed. It is dimmable when used with electronic line voltage rated dimming controls only, so combine the right dimmer with dimmable lamps. Vertical rotation of 90° and horizontal rotation of 330° provide a wide range of aiming possibilities, and the fixture assures a secure lock on the angle position. As always, switch off the breaker before working on a track, and have a qualified electrician install the power feed.
