Built for the workshop
This 46 inch shop light combines integrated LEDs with a rugged treadplate-design chassis in a bright chrome finish and a white diffuser. At 48W, it produces 5,000 lumens of natural white 4000K light, bright enough for detailed work yet comfortable during long sessions at the bench. Integrated LEDs mean no fluorescent tubes to change, and the life expectancy of 50,000 hours keeps maintenance to a minimum, year after year in the garage or the basement.
Plug-in convenience
No electrician is needed for a basic setup: the fixture includes a 5 feet (1.5m) power cord, a pull chain switch and 16 in. hanging chains. Hang it from hooks in the ceiling joists, plug it into a 120V outlet and pull the chain. The built-in 15 Amp convenience outlet lets you link up to 8 units, so you can build a continuous row of light over a long bench or across a garage while using a single wall outlet. Note that the fixture is not dimmable.
Where it shines
Use it over a woodworking bench, a car lift or a tool wall in the garage, above the washer and dryer in a laundry room, in an unfinished basement, a game room, a utility room or a storage area. Small businesses rely on shop lights in stockrooms, repair shops and back rooms where bright, practical lighting matters more than décor. From a garage in Sherbrooke to a workshop in Red Deer, it is an easy upgrade over old fluorescent shop lights.

Planning and documentation
For a single garage or a basement workshop, one or two fixtures above the main work zone often make a big difference; for a double garage or a long workbench, link several units in a row, up to 8 from one outlet. The technical sheet in the Documentation tab lists the wattage, lumens, colour temperature, dimensions, finish and certification, handy when you plan your shop lighting.
