Bright, clean and incredibly flexible, the SKYE 4" colour selectable LED recessed light in white (SKU SLMB4-16W-CCT-WH) is the kind of pot light that makes a renovation easy. This 4-inch slim LED downlight delivers 16W of efficient light with a front-facing switch to choose your colour temperature between 2700K and 5000K, so the same fixture can create a warm, relaxing glow in a bedroom or a crisp, energizing white in a kitchen, office or store. Homeowners call it a pot light, a wafer light or a slim recessed light; contractors love it because it adapts to every room.

Its specs are built for real-world comfort. A high 90 CRI makes colours, skin tones, food and finishes look natural. It is dimmable with TRIAC and ELV dimmers for smooth, flicker-free ambiance control. The fixture is wet location rated, IC rated for direct contact with insulation, airtight, Energy Star certified and Title 24 (T24) compliant. The airtight aluminum body with durable paint, the white diffuser lens and the included silicone gasket keep it reliable in bathrooms, showers and soffits, while the white trim blends into a standard ceiling.

Across Canada, it is a smart pick for basement finishing, kitchen and bathroom makeovers, condo renovations and new builds, as well as offices, clinics and retail spaces that need clean, uniform light. Spring-loaded clips make it quick to install from below. Need a different output or a darker look? Compare it with the SKYE 4" colour selectable 12W in white or the SKYE 4" colour selectable 12W in black. Plan your layout today and light every room exactly the way you want.

A slim downlight that adapts to every room
The SKYE SLMB4-16W-CCT-WH is a 4" colour selectable LED recessed downlight designed for easy installation and a streamlined look. Its 16W LED engine provides generous, even light through a white diffuser lens, which softens glare and gives the ceiling a clean, modern appearance. The white finish disappears into a typical painted ceiling, keeping attention on the room rather than the fixture.

Colour selection and light quality
A front-facing switch lets you choose the colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 5000K daylight, before or after installation. Use warm white in living rooms and bedrooms, a neutral tone in hallways and bathrooms, and daylight in garages, workshops and kitchens where you need to see details. The typical 90 CRI rendering keeps wood, paint colours, food and skin tones true to life. The fixture is dimmable with TRIAC and ELV dimmers, so one light can go from task lighting to evening ambiance.

Ratings and construction
This recessed light is IC rated, so it can be in direct contact with ceiling insulation, and airtight, which helps limit air leakage through the ceiling, a real advantage in Canadian homes with a vapour barrier. It is wet location rated thanks to its silicone gasket, making it suitable for showers, bathrooms and covered exterior soffits. The body is airtight aluminum with a durable painted finish. The fixture is Energy Star certified, cETLus certified and Title 24 (T24) compliant.

Installation
An electronic, dimmable class II LED driver connects with quick-connect push-in terminals, and spring-loaded clips hold the fixture in the ceiling from below. Cut the opening, make the connections in the driver box, slide everything through the hole and push the fixture up until it sits flush. It is a fast job for electricians and experienced renovators on new builds as well as retrofits.

Choosing the right SKYE
The SKYE family is available in several outputs and finishes. For a room that needs a little less light, the SKYE 4" colour selectable 12W in white keeps the same look; for a bold, contemporary contrast, consider the SKYE 4" in black.
