Built small on purposeThe PK800 is an ultra-small
recessed puck light designed to vanish into cabinetry. Its body measures 19 x 19 x 21 mm and drops into a
16 mm (5/8") cutout, which means a simple Forstner or hole-saw pass through a shelf, a valance or a panel is all the prep it needs. Pressure-fit clips grip the material from behind, so the fixture stays put even in thin-walled structures where screws and brackets are not an option. The low-profile trim keeps the face nearly flush, giving you a clean line of light points instead of a row of bulky housings under your uppers.
Light quality you can see on the counterEach puck produces
68 lumens from only
0.5 watt, focused in a
30° beam. That narrow spread is what creates those tidy pools of light on a backsplash or the crisp highlight on a display object — no spill onto the ceiling, no glare in the eyes. The
3000K warm white tone pairs beautifully with oak, walnut, brass and warm quartz, while a
CRI above 85 renders colours honestly, which matters when you are chopping vegetables, matching fabric or showing merchandise. The puck is
dimmable, so you can drop the level for evening ambiance on the same run you use for task light.

Wiring and installationThis is a
24V low-voltage fixture, so it must be fed by a DC 24V power supply sized for the total load of the run; at 0.5 W per puck, a single small driver can carry a generous number of points. Because the system is low voltage, the wiring stays slim and easy to route through cabinet backs, shelf channels and toe-kicks. For dimming, control the 24V side with a compatible dimming driver or controller rather than switching the pucks individually. Plan your layout before drilling: space the pucks evenly along the shelf or valance, keep them close to the front edge so the beam rakes down the face of the cabinet, and always confirm the depth behind the panel before cutting the 16 mm hole. Its
IP65 rating gives extra peace of mind in humid zones like bathroom vanities and kitchen backsplashes.
Where it works and what goes with itThink kitchen uppers and islands, pantry and closet shelving, bookcases, china and
display cabinet lighting, stair and hallway accents, bar backs, reception desks, jewellery and boutique showcases. Contractors building custom millwork use it as a discreet marker light; homeowners use it as the finishing touch that makes a renovation feel professionally lit. The same PK800 body is offered in other finishes and tones, so you can match hardware or change the mood:
black 3000K,
stainless 3000K,
stainless 4000K and
white 4000K. The full technical PDF for this model is in the Documentation tab, with the technical drawing and cutout dimensions for your shop drawings.
