Built to disappearThe whole idea behind this
mini LED puck light is discretion. The housing measures 19 x 19 x 21 mm and drops into a 16 mm (5/8") hole, so all you see once installed is a small low-profile trim sitting nearly flush with the wood, panel or metal. The finish on this version is black, which visually reads as a shadow line rather than a fixture — perfect when a designer or cabinetmaker wants the light and not the hardware. Pressure-fit clips grip the material from behind, and they are specifically good for thin-walled structures such as cabinet gables, shelf fronts, display boxes and light valances where there is very little depth to work with.
Light quality you can trust on finishesAt 0.5 W this puck produces 68 lumens in a 30º beam, which is exactly what accent lighting should be: a controlled cone of light that highlights a surface, a product or a backsplash without spilling into your eyes. The 3000K warm white tone flatters oak, walnut, brass, warm quartz and painted cabinetry, while the CRI greater than 85 means colours stay honest — important for retail merchandise, cosmetics in a bathroom, food prep on a counter, or artwork in a display case. Dimming support lets you install several pucks in a row and then dial the whole run down for evening ambience.

Wiring and installationThis is a
24V low-voltage puck light, so it is powered by a DC 24V driver or transformer rather than wired directly to line voltage — the standard, safe approach inside cabinetry and furniture. Because each puck only draws 0.5 W, a long run of accent points stays very light on the power supply, leaving room to grow the project later. Practical sequence: lay out your points of light on the panel, drill the 16 mm (5/8") holes, run the low-voltage leads through the millwork, press each puck into place until the clips bite, then connect back to the driver and, if you want control, a compatible dimming system. Keep the driver accessible — inside a cabinet, above a valance or in a service space — so servicing never means taking the millwork apart.
Where it performs, and what pairs with itThink
kitchen under cabinet lighting over a counter or island, glass shelves in a china cabinet, a bathroom vanity or medicine cabinet, walk-in closets and shoe shelving, wine racks, bar backs, reception desks, museum-style vitrines and retail
display cabinet lighting in a boutique. The IP65 rating makes it a sensible pick near sinks, in humid bathrooms and in covered exterior millwork. Building a mixed layout? The same puck family covers other looks and tones:
LED puck #800 3000K stainless,
LED puck #800 3000K white,
LED puck #800 4000K stainless and
LED puck #800 4000K white — handy when one room wants warm light and another wants crisp 4000K.
