A slim new-generation ceiling light
This ARANI LED ceiling light belongs to a new generation of fixtures designed for general lighting in kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and commercial spaces. It measures 7 in (180 mm) in diameter and only 11/16 in (17 mm) high, so it sits close to the ceiling for a discreet, modern profile. The housing is white plastic and the lens is polycarbonate, for a soft glow across the whole round surface.
Light you can adjust
With 5CCT selection, you choose the colour temperature that suits the room: 2700K or 3000K for a warm, cozy bedroom or living area, 3500K for a balanced tone, 4000K or 5000K for crisp, bright light in a kitchen, a laundry room or an office. The selectable wattage lets you pick 8 W, 10 W or 12 W, for 800 lm, 900 lm or 1,000 lm, with an efficacy of 80 lm/W. The 110° beam angle spreads the light widely, and the fixture is dimmable with Triac dimmers for evenings when you want softer light.
Electrical details and installation
The fixture runs on 120 VAC with an input current of 0.19 A and a power factor above 0.8, and it includes surge protection of 1 kV / 1 kV. It is rated for damp locations and operates from -20 °C to 40 °C. Choose the colour temperature and wattage during installation, pair the light with a compatible Triac dimmer if you want dimming, and have a licensed electrician make the connection according to the Canadian Electrical Code. Replacing an old fixture is usually quick, and the slim profile leaves a neat finish on the ceiling.
Where it shines
Wondering how many lumens a kitchen needs? It depends on the size of the room, which is exactly why three wattage settings are handy: start at 12 W for full brightness and step down where less light is enough. Use it in kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and home offices, and, thanks to its damp location rating, in bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements. In condos, rental units and commercial corridors, one model can cover many rooms. With a 35,000-hour rated life, cETLus certification and a 5-year warranty, it is built for years of service. The spec sheet in the Documentation tab includes photometric data.
