The finishing piece of the black V1 track systemThe TL-EC-CL-BK-V1 is the end cap of the black V1
LED track lighting family, a complete system that also includes the 4 ft track, the end feed, the ceiling feed (canopy), the mini-joiner, the L connector and the T connector. This
track rail end cap closes the end of the rail and hides its internal profile, leaving a crisp, finished line. The 4 ft track comes with an end cap on each side; separate end caps let you replace one, keep spares for future changes, or close any open end your layout leaves behind.
Construction and finishThe body is made of
polycarbonate with a
black finish that matches the black aluminum rails of the series. At 1-3/8 in x 9/16 in (34.9 mm x 14.3 mm), it follows the 1-3/8 in (34.9 mm) width of the rail, so the end of the run looks intentional rather than cut off. On a white ceiling, a black track becomes a graphic design line, a look that suits modern kitchens, lofts and industrial-style shops; on a dark ceiling, the whole system blends into the background and lets the light do the talking.
Electrical and installation detailsThe V1 system runs on a 120V input with a maximum current of 20A and a maximum power of 1,920W, and its rails use an H-type connector for track heads. It is intended for dry locations (IP20) and is rated to operate from -20°C to 45°C. Plan your layout first, bring power in with the
black end feed for track or the ceiling feed, join rails with the mini-joiner, the
black L connector for track or the T connector, then fit an end cap on every free end. Have a licensed electrician handle the connection to the 120V supply.

Applications and documentationPicture a 4 ft run above a kitchen island aimed at the counter, an L-shaped layout that follows the corner of a living room to highlight artwork, or several runs joined in a boutique to light shelves and displays. In each case, the
end cap is what gives the installation its finished, professional edge. The
spec sheet (PDF) in the Documentation tab lists every component of the black V1 family with its ordering code and dimensions, a handy reference when you plan the layout with your electrician or contractor.
