Built to last, finished to disappear
The LS-RDS-WT is a round swivel trim made of painted die cast metal, not stamped plastic, which is why it keeps a crisp edge against drywall and plaster and why the pivot stays firm over time. The white finish is deliberately quiet: the ring reads as part of the ceiling, and your eye goes to the lit object instead of the fixture. The same swivel trim family is offered in square or round shapes and in three finishes, so you can keep one look through a whole floor plan or switch shapes between rooms while keeping the identical cutout.
Light quality comes from the MR16 bulb
The trim holds the optics; the light itself comes from the MR16 LED bulb, sold separately. Paired with the matching 7W MR16 LED bulb, the assembly delivers 550 lumens from a single CREE COB LED with a 40° beam degree — narrow enough to graze a stone feature wall or pool light on a countertop without spilling everywhere. CRI is greater than 90, so wood grain, paint chips, fabric and skin tones stay honest, which matters in kitchens, boutiques and galleries. Colour temperature choices are 2700K and 3000K for warm residential rooms and 5000K for crisp task and display work.
Electrical and installation details
This is a low voltage system: 12V AC/DC, with each fixture including an MR16 socket and a 15 cm (6") wire length for connection to your driver or transformer. Installation is a recessed install with pressure fit clips into a Ø2 3/4" (70 mm) cutout, so a single hole saw size covers the whole run. Once seated, the trim gives a 90° swivel so you can aim each head after the ceiling is painted and the shelves are in — a real advantage when millwork or artwork moves late in a project. The system is dimmable, so you can dial the room down for evening service or display mode.

Cabinet, display and downlighting are the applications this trim was drawn for: under-soffit lighting over a kitchen island, in a jeweller's display bay, along a shelving wall in a boutique, over a fireplace or a stair niche at home. In multi-unit residential and hospitality renovations, the consistent Ø2 3/4" (70 mm) cutout keeps drilling simple across dozens of units.
