RANGE HOOD - 24232 - UNDER-CABINET BABY-PRO II 30" - 390 CFM - STAINLESS STEEL

SKU: 24232

Brand: LUMIFARO

Want an under-cabinet range hood that feels a step above the basic kitchen fan? The LUMIFARO Baby-Pro II 24232 is a 30" kitchen range hood that mounts directly under the upper cabinet above your stove, with a modern electronic control panel and a built-in LCD clock. Also searched as an under cabinet hood fan or stove vent hood, it captures smoke, steam, grease and cooking odours where they rise, keeping the kitchen fresher and the cabinets cleaner. Homeowners, landlords and renovation contractors across Canada love it as an easy upgrade.

This stainless steel range hood moves 390 CFM of air with a 3-speed electronic control panel. On low speed it runs at a quiet 0.7 sones, ideal while simmering and chatting, and on high it reaches 9.0 sones to clear smoke from a hot pan in no time. Two 5W LED bulbs are included to light the cooktop, and durable stainless steel filters are included too, easy to remove and clean. The rear or top rectangular vent adapts to the ductwork you already have, whether the duct goes up through the cabinet or straight out through the wall.

The Baby-Pro II shines in family kitchens, condos, rental units, cottages and basement suites where a standard 30" range sits under an upper cabinet and the owner wants a more refined look and feel. It is warranted for residential use: 1 year on parts and labour, then 2 years on parts only. Have it installed by a qualified installer, vent it outside and enjoy a cleaner, brighter kitchen with the LUMIFARO 24232 under-cabinet hood.

An under-cabinet hood with modern controls
The LUMIFARO Baby-Pro II 24232 is an under-cabinet range hood designed to be fastened under the upper cabinet above a 30" range. It keeps the familiar, space-saving format of the most common kitchen hood fan in Canadian homes, but adds a 3-speed electronic control panel with an LCD clock, a handy detail in any kitchen. The stainless steel finish gives the space a clean, contemporary look and matches most appliances.

Airflow and noise level
The blower delivers 390 CFM, well suited to everyday family cooking. Choose low speed at 0.7 sones for simmering and quiet evenings, or high speed at 9.0 sones when you sear, fry or boil a big pot of pasta and need to clear steam quickly. Good ventilation also protects cabinets, walls and ceilings from grease buildup and keeps cooking odours from spreading through the house.

Stainless steel filters and LED lighting
The included stainless steel filters trap grease before it reaches the duct; they are sturdy and simple to remove for regular cleaning, a real plus for anyone looking for low-maintenance range hood filters. Two 5W LED bulbs are included and light the entire cooking surface while using far less energy than old halogen bulbs.

Rear or top venting
The rear or top rectangular vent gives you two options. If the existing duct goes up through the cabinet, use the top outlet; if it goes straight through the exterior wall behind the stove, use the rear outlet. This flexibility often simplifies replacing an old hood and limits changes to existing ductwork.

Installation tips
Connect and test the hood before final installation. Remove the protective adhesive strip on the exhaust flaps, never install the duct so tightly that the flaps cannot open, and use duct tape rather than screws on the hood outlet. To check the flaps, run the hood for 30 seconds, turn it off, and after 2 or 3 seconds you should hear them close one after the other. Installation by a qualified installer is recommended; problems caused by improper installation are not covered by the warranty (residential use: 1 year parts and labour, then 2 years parts only). The spec sheet is available in the Documentation tab.
