A discreet insert for custom kitchens
The LUMIFARO Elite 24128 is a built-in range hood made to be mounted inside a cabinet or a custom hood enclosure. Only the stainless steel underside and the controls stay visible, so the kitchen design remains clean and uninterrupted. This is the classic solution for a custom range hood: the cabinetmaker builds the enclosure in the style of the kitchen, and the insert handles the ventilation. The stainless steel finish is easy to wipe clean and matches most modern appliances.
Ventilation and quiet operation
The blower delivers 490 CFM, well suited to everyday family cooking and the occasional smoky pan. The 3-speed soft-touch controls let you choose the right level: low speed runs at 0.6 sones for simmering and quiet conversation, while high speed reaches 8.0 sones for frying and searing. Air leaves through a 6" round vertical vent exhaust, to be ducted to the outside. Good ventilation also protects cabinets, walls and ceilings from grease buildup over the years.
Filters and LED lighting
The included 5-layer aluminum range hood filters trap grease before it reaches the duct and can be removed for regular cleaning. Two 5W LED bulbs are included; they light up the cooking surface so you can check every pot at a glance, and they use far less energy than old halogen bulbs.
Installation tips
The required opening is 10 1/4" x 26 1/2". Connect and test the hood before final installation. Remove the protective adhesive strip on the exhaust flaps, never install the duct so tightly that the flaps cannot open fully, and use duct tape rather than screws on the hood outlet. To check the flaps, run the hood for 30 seconds, turn it off, and after 2 or 3 seconds you should hear them close one after the other. Installation by a qualified installer is recommended, since problems caused by improper installation are not covered by the warranty.
