Built for real Canadian weatherThe LUNA is made to stay outside. Its
stainless steel housing in a black finish resists the abuse of sprinklers, downpours, road salt spray and snow load, and the sealed
IP65 construction keeps water and dust out of the optical chamber. The declared operating range of
-25ºC to +60ºC covers both a January cold snap and a south-facing brick wall in August, and efficient thermal behaviour is what lets a compact fixture hold its output over a rated
30 000 hours of service. The included
aluminum stake pushes into soil, mulch or a planting bed without tools, so you can test positions at night before committing to a final aim.
Light quality and beamWith
255 lumens from just
3 watts, this is precision lighting rather than floodlighting: enough punch to define a shrub, a sign face or a stone wall, gentle enough that it never turns your yard into a parking lot. The
120º projection angle spreads light broadly, which is ideal for grazing a wide surface or washing a planting group from a short distance. This SKU is the
4000K neutral white version, a crisp modern tone that flatters grey stone, aluminum, glass and contemporary architecture, and that keeps signage legible from the street. If your project calls for a warmer, more traditional glow on cedar, brick or wood, the same fixture is offered in a
3000K version.

Wiring, dimming and compatibilityThis is a
24V DC low-voltage fixture, so it must be fed by a suitable outdoor supply — the
Luvia 100W outdoor power supply is the natural match for a garden run. Add up the wattage of every fixture on the line and keep a margin on the supply; at
3 watts each, a LUNA leaves plenty of headroom to build a full scheme. The fixture is
dimmable with a compatible dimmer or driver, which is useful when you want full output for an evening gathering and a lower level for the rest of the night. Use waterproof connectors on every splice, keep junctions protected, and leave a little slack in the cable so fixtures can be repositioned as plantings fill in. It combines naturally with other 12-24V landscape pieces such as the
Scoop landscape lighting, the
Pico LED outdoor spotlight and the
LED landscape light Pavo.
Applications and documentationThink front-yard curb appeal: two or three LUNA units uplighting a mature tree, a row grazing a cedar hedge, a pair framing the house number, one aimed at a stone feature or a water basin. For small businesses, it works well on a storefront sign, a restaurant terrace border, a dental clinic entrance or a rental property walkway where safety and a welcoming look matter equally. Landscapers appreciate that the stake mount allows seasonal adjustment as beds mature. The full
