Construction and design
The ST19 LED bulb gets its name from its shape: a straight-sided, gently tapered tube that stands taller than a standard A19 and shows off its filament through clear glass. That clarity is the whole point — this is a decorative LED filament bulb meant to be seen, not hidden behind a shade. At 140 mm tall and 64 mm in diameter, it slips into most open pendants, cage fixtures, sconces and vanity bars without crowding the socket or poking past the shade line. Model LEDST195W40K is backed by a 2-year warranty.
Light quality
This version is the 4000K neutral white of the LEDST19-5W family (offered in 30K and 40K). Neutral white is the sweet spot between the cozy amber of a traditional bulb and the crisp punch of daylight: it keeps whites looking white, makes stainless, tile and countertops read clean, and holds up well in commercial spaces where merchandise needs to look accurate. With a CRI of 80, colours stay natural on skin tones, wood grain and packaging. The photometric file shows a very wide distribution — an average beam angle of 323.8° at 50% — meaning light spreads nearly all the way around the bulb rather than firing in one direction, which is exactly what you want in an open fixture or a bare-socket application.

Electrical and installation notes
Wired for standard 120 V residential and commercial circuits, the bulb simply threads into the socket — no driver, no transformer, no extra hardware. Because it is dimmable, the dimmer itself deserves a little attention: dimmers generally carry a maximum 150-watt rating for LED bulbs, and the manufacturer strongly recommends not exceeding 80% of that capacity so the lamps do not flicker when the slider is at its lowest setting. In practice that means loading a circuit conservatively and grouping bulbs accordingly. If you are replacing incandescent or halogen decoratives, expect the same look at a fraction of the draw — often up to 80% less energy for a comparable effect.
Applications and documentation
Think exposed-bulb pendants over a kitchen island or a coffee bar, a trio hanging in a stairwell, wall sconces in a hallway, vanity fixtures in a bathroom, chandeliers in a dining room, and string or café lighting in a covered patio. On the commercial side, boutiques, barber shops, breweries, restaurants and reception areas all use ST19 LED bulbs where the fixture is the décor. Photometric data — including the luminous intensity distribution diagram and the illuminance values from 1 m to 10 m — is available in the technical PDF (LEDST195W40K Spec Sheet) found in the Documentation tab, handy when you are specifying a project or need numbers for an inspector or a client presentation.
