Built for decorative fixtures
The CTC LED bulb from LUMIFARO is a compact candle-shaped lamp designed to sit in plain view. Its bulb colour is clear, so the glass keeps that jewel-like sparkle designers want in crystal chandeliers, lantern pendants and open-shade sconces, and the small body — 95 mm tall by 35 mm in diameter — slips into narrow clip-on shades and tight fixture arms where a standard bulb bulges out. One bulb type can therefore serve a whole house of decorative sockets, which is exactly what makes relamping simple.
Light quality and output
At 8 watts this bulb produces 800 lumens — real, usable brightness for a lamp this size — with a colour rendering index of 80. That CRI level is where faces, wood floors, warm paint and fabrics start to look like themselves again instead of washed out. The colour temperature here is 3000K warm white, the cozy tone most people want in living spaces; the same CTC series is also built in 4000K for cooler, crisper rooms. The photometric report shows a very wide distribution with an average beam angle (50%) of 325.2°, close to omnidirectional, so light reaches the whole inside of a shade and up onto the ceiling rather than shooting straight down.
Electrical, dimming and installation
The bulb runs on 120 volts, standard North American residential and commercial line voltage, and it is dimmable. The manufacturer's note matters on a real job site: LED bulbs work with most dimmers, dimmers are generally rated for a maximum of 150 watts of LED bulbs, and you should not exceed 80% of that capacity if you want to avoid flicker when the dimmer is at its lowest setting. Count your sockets before you wire, keep each dimmer comfortably under its limit, and split long runs of decorative fixtures across two dimmers when a chandelier and its matching sconces share one circuit. Installation itself is a screw-in swap — cut the power, let old bulbs cool, thread the new lamp in gently without over-tightening, and keep it out of fully enclosed, unventilated housings so heat can escape.

Applications and documentation
Think dining room chandeliers over a table where guests linger, hallway and stairwell sconces that stay on for hours, bedroom lamps, powder-room vanity fixtures, and the bathroom light bar that everyone judges their reflection in. On the commercial side, this dimmable LED candle bulb is a workhorse for restaurants and cafés that dim the room as the evening goes on, boutiques and hair salons where colour accuracy sells the product, small hotels, B&Bs, reception areas and heritage buildings full of decorative fixtures. Swapping incandescent candelabra lamps for LED also means far fewer trips up the ladder and much less heat in the room during a Canadian summer. The complete spec sheet, including the luminous intensity distribution diagram and the illuminance table by mounting height, is available as a technical PDF in the Documentation tab — handy when a client, inspector or electrician asks for photometrics before approving the relamp.
