Built for the outdoorsThis up/down
outdoor wall light is made from
100% die-cast aluminum, a material chosen for exterior work because it sheds heat from the LED boards and shrugs off rain, snow and humidity. The compact cube shape measures L100 x W100 x H100mm and mounts flat against the wall, so it reads as architectural detail rather than as a bulky lantern. Housing colour is available in black or white: black disappears against dark siding and modern brick, white blends into stucco and light-coloured trim. The
IP65 rating means the fixture is protected against dust and water jets, which is why it is rated for indoor and outdoor use — covered entries, exposed façades, garden walls and unheated garages all qualify.
Light quality and colour temperatureTwo 5W LED modules (2 x 5W) produce a total of
1000lm, one beam aimed up the wall and one aimed down. Efficiency sits at 100lm/w, which is where the energy savings of up to 90% compared to traditional lighting come from. The
adjustable beam angle is the feature installers appreciate most: tighten it for a narrow dramatic stripe on stone, or open it up for a soft wide wash across siding. With a CRI of 80, materials look natural rather than washed out. The
multi CCT design gives four selectable colour temperatures — 3000K, 4000K, 5000K and 6000K — so one fixture can be warm at a residential entrance or cooler and more commercial on a façade or sign.

Electrical and installationThe universal
AC100-277V input lets the same fixture serve a house, a condo building or a commercial property without swapping models, and a power factor of ≥0.9 with 85% power efficiency keeps the load clean on the branch circuit. A working temperature range of -20~+60°C covers a Québec winter night and a July afternoon on a south-facing wall. Installation follows standard outdoor sconce practice: a weatherproof outlet box, the proper gasket seal against the wall, and connections made so water drains away from the fixture. Space units evenly — typically one per pilaster or at regular intervals along a long wall — and set the beam adjustment before final tightening. Electrical connections must be made by a qualified electrician according to the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements.
Applications and documentationReal projects for this
up/down wall sconce: flanking a front door, climbing a garage wall, marking the columns of a covered porch, grazing a feature stone wall in the garden, lighting a restaurant terrace, a hotel entrance corridor, a clinic façade or a storefront sign band. It also works indoors for accent lighting in a stairwell or lobby. For bigger linear coverage on the same building, look at the
14'' outdoor LED wall light fixture (bidirectional) or the
18'' outdoor LED wall light fixture (bidirectional), and for a single downward beam at service doors, the
8'' outdoor LED wall light fixture. The full technical PDF spec sheet for LCMUR-UD-10W-30K-P is in the Documentation tab with the technical drawing and complete specification table.
