One cord, one jobA single 1 m
AC power cord: a plug at one end, the Tri-Proof bar connector at the other, and nothing to assemble in between. It duplicates the cord supplied with the bar, so a bar that arrived with its own lead can gain a second one for another location, and a bar whose cord was cut short on site can be put back to work in minutes. Because the connector is the same fitting found on the bar, you simply join the two, plug in, and the
LED light bar is lit. No tools, no wiring diagram, no
power supply to pick.
Electrical details made simpleThe Tri-Proof bar carries its own internal transformer and accepts line voltage directly, which is why this accessory is a plain
120V AC cord rather than a low-voltage lead. There is no driver to match, no polarity to respect and no voltage drop to calculate: the bar does the conversion on board. Plug the cord into any
120V outlet and the bar comes on. For anything that may be moved, serviced or put away for the season, a
plug-in connection is the practical answer, and a spare cord keeps the job going when a lead gets damaged.
Chaining several barsOn larger projects, Tri-Proof bars can be linked in series: up to 15 bars on one line, joined with the
one-metre Tri-Proof connector wire or its shorter and longer siblings. In that layout, one AC cord feeds the first bar and the connector wires carry power down the row, so a long run of
linked LED bars needs only one outlet. Plan one power cord per run, then add an
extension wire for each gap between bars: the extensions come in short, one-metre and two-metre versions to match the spacing of your ceiling.
Where it earns its keepTri-Proof bars are built for garages, garden sheds, car washes and commercial or industrial warehouses, and this cord follows them there. Think of a detached garage where the only power is a wall receptacle, a seasonal shed that is emptied every spring, a workshop where the lighting moves with the bench, or a
warehouse lighting upgrade done bay by bay, one plug at a time. In each case the
plug-in LED bar is up and running the moment the cord meets the outlet. Add one cord per bar, or one per chain of linked bars, and the lighting plan is complete.
