Design and constructionThe RHEA is built as a tall ladder-style
heated towel bar with evenly spaced horizontal rails across a 23.6"-wide frame, which is what lets you drape a full bath sheet flat instead of folding it in thirds. The projection from the wall is just 3.46" (9 cm), so it stays discreet in narrow bathrooms and hallways. It comes with robust colour-matched metal brackets, meaning the mounting hardware disappears into the finish instead of standing out. This model is the gold version of a family also offered in chrome and black, so you can match faucets, shower trim and cabinet hardware throughout a renovation.
Heat performanceWith
400 watts on a
120V circuit and a heat output of
475 BTU, the RHEA is designed to dry towels steadily rather than blast heat. Maximum surface temperature sits between 90 and 110 °F depending on model and ambient temperature, which is warm enough to dry cotton and remove that damp smell while remaining comfortable to touch. That gentle output is also why many owners leave it running through the day in winter: it takes the chill off a small bathroom and helps manage humidity in rooms with poor ventilation.

Installation and electricalThe RHEA uses a
hardwired connection (120 VAC), so there is no cord or plug showing on the wall — the supply comes out behind the unit and stays hidden. Plan the rough-in before the tile goes up: locate the junction box at the height indicated by the mounting template, and make sure the wall has solid backing or blocking for the brackets, since a loaded towel warmer carries real weight. Because it is a permanently connected 120V, 400 W appliance, the wiring, circuit and any bathroom-specific protection must be done by a licensed electrician in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code and your provincial and municipal requirements. The unit is ETL tested and compliant, which inspectors and contractors appreciate on commercial jobs.
Applications and documentationThink ensuite and family bathrooms, powder rooms next to a pool, cottage bunkies, basement bathrooms that stay damp, and commercial spaces: boutique hotels, spas, massage and physio clinics, hair salons, gyms, changing rooms and short-term rentals. Contractors often specify matching units across several bathrooms — the
Artemis towel warmer and the
Eos towel warmer suit smaller walls, while the
Clip 59" towel warmer and the
Atlas towel warmer offer other silhouettes. The full technical PDF (LCTW-RHGD08 Spec Sheet) is available in the Documentation tab with dimensions and electrical data for your submittals.
