Design and constructionThe RHEA is a ladder-style
heated towel rack built around a tall vertical frame with evenly spaced horizontal bars, a layout that lets air circulate freely so towels dry faster and smell fresher. The black finish is one of several designer finishes offered in this family, alongside chrome and gold versions, so you can match faucets, shower trim and cabinet hardware. Each unit comes with
robust colour-matched metal brackets, which means the mounting hardware blends into the frame instead of interrupting the lines of the piece. The overall footprint is slim at just 3.46" deep, so the warmer sits close to the wall and stays out of the traffic path in narrow bathrooms.
Heat performanceRated at
400 watts on 120V, the RHEA produces
475 BTU of heat output — enough to keep bath sheets, robes and hand towels warm and dry through the day. The maximum surface temperature sits between 90 and 110 °F depending on model and ambient temperature, a gentle warmth that is safe to touch and comfortable to lean a towel against for hours. In smaller ensuites and powder rooms, that steady output also helps take the chill off the room and reduce the lingering dampness that leads to musty towels and mildew on grout.

Electrical and installationThe RHEA uses a
hardwired 120 VAC connection, which eliminates visible wires and gives the installation a built-in, custom look — no cord draped down the wall to an outlet. Plan the supply location during rough-in: decide the mounting height, mark the bracket positions on solid blocking or with appropriate wall anchors, and bring the feed out behind the frame. Installation must follow the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements, so a licensed electrician should make the final connection. Because the unit is
ETL tested and compliant, it fits easily into inspected residential and commercial projects.
Applications and documentationDesigners specify towel warmers like this one for primary ensuites, condo bathrooms, basement guest baths, cottages and chalets, as well as for gyms, pools, spas, estheticians' rooms, salons, clinics and hotel bathrooms where fresh, dry linens matter every day. It is equally at home in a mudroom for drying mitts and toques after a Canadian winter afternoon outside. Working on a multi-bathroom project? Mix formats across the family: the
Artemis towel warmer for compact powder rooms, the
Clip 59" towel warmer for larger walls, or the
Atlas towel warmer for a different silhouette. The full
