Built thin, built to lastThe PRO-SP7 uses a special eco-designed body engineered for better thermal management, which is what keeps a
slim LED panel stable over its 50,000-hour life. The back-lit slim profile is made for low-depth installations — joist bays, dropped bulkheads, soffits and tight plenum spaces where a traditional can simply will not fit. The visible surface is a quality white
PMMA trim guaranteed against yellowing, framed by a metal ring that gives the fixture a more substantial, architectural edge than all-plastic wafers. The whole assembly measures 4.92" in diameter by 1.07" high.
Light quality you can actually seeA premium-grade opal diffuser spreads the output evenly across a 120° beam angle, so you get soft, glare-free illumination instead of a hot spot staring back at you. With
CRI ≥ 80, colours stay honest — helpful in kitchens, closets, retail displays and bathroom vanities. The
5 field selectable colour temperatures (27K, 30K, 35K, 40K and 50K) are chosen with a switch on the fixture before install: warm for living rooms and bedrooms, neutral for hallways and offices, cool for garages, laundry rooms and workshops.

Wiring, dimming and installationInstallation is straightforward: cut a 4.13" hole, connect the FT4 cable to the 120V LED driver junction box, fold the spring clamps and push the panel into place. Because it is
IC-rated, it can sit in direct contact with insulation, which matters in Canadian attics and exterior-wall ceilings. The
wet location rating and the -20 ˚C to +40 ˚C operating range open the door to covered porches, soffits, shower areas and unheated entries. For dimming, pair it with a
TRIAC (forward-phase) dimmer and keep the number of fixtures within the dimmer's LED load rating for the smoothest low-end performance.
Applications, accessories and documentationTUROLIGHT lists offices, malls, hotels and residences as target applications, and that covers most real jobs: a basement renovation on a 4" grid, a dental clinic corridor, an Airbnb bathroom, a boutique fitting room. For larger ceilings, the
6-pack of the same PRO-SP7 panel keeps everything matched. To change the look, the spec sheet confirms compatibility with the
RGD-SP3 black trim ring and the
RGD-SP3 brushed nickel trim ring. If the same project needs flat panels for a suspended ceiling, look at the
PRO-BLP3 2x2 backlit panel. The full technical PDF, with the dimensional drawing, polar candela curve and ordering guide, is in the Documentation tab.
