Wiring and installationInstallation is the part people love. Cut a
4.13" opening, connect the
120V LED driver in its compact 3.5" x 3.5" x 1.19" box, fold the
spring clamps and push the panel up — done, with only 1.07" of depth taken behind the ceiling. Because the fixture is
IC-rated, it can sit in direct contact with insulation, which is a real advantage in insulated basement ceilings and top-floor renovations. It's
wet location rated (indoor) and operates from -20˚C to +40˚C, so showers, covered entries and unheated storage areas are all fair game. Pair it with a
TRIAC dimmer for smooth dimming in bedrooms, dining rooms and hotel corridors.
Family, accessories and documentationThis 4" version is part of a complete slim panel family: move up to the
RGD-SP5 6" 12W slim panel or the
RGD-SP5 8" 16W slim panel for larger rooms, keeping the same look and the same selectable colour temperatures throughout a project. The spec sheet also lists 4" trim rings as accessories — the
black trim ring and the
