Built to last, built to stay coolThe RGD-SP5 is engineered around a
pressure die cast aluminum body, chosen for better thermal management — the single biggest factor in how long an
LED panel light keeps its brightness and colour. On the visible side, the white metal trim is made of quality PMMA and is guaranteed against yellowing under the 5 years warranty, so the ring you install today still looks white years from now. The edge-lit slim profile is what makes this fixture so useful: it is designed for low-depth installation, which means it fits ceilings where a conventional recessed housing simply cannot go.
Light quality you can actually seeA premium-grade opal diffuser spreads the output into an even, glare-free wash across a 120° beam angle — no hot spots, no pinpoint glare when you look up. With
CRI ≥ 90, colours stay true: countertops, fabrics, merchandise and skin tones all read naturally. And because the fixture offers
5 field selectable CCT options (27K, 30K, 35K, 40K and 50K), you set the mood on site with a simple switch on the fixture — warm and cozy for a living room, neutral for an office, daylight-crisp for a workshop or garage.

Electrical and installationThe panel runs on a 120V LED driver rated for the same -20˚C to +40˚C operating range as the fixture, and it dims with standard
TRIAC dimmers — the forward-phase wall dimmers most Canadian homes already have. Mounting is straightforward: cut an 8.27" hole, make your connections, fold in the spring clamps and push the panel up. Because it is
IC-rated for direct contact with insulation, you can install it in insulated ceilings without keeping blown-in or batt insulation away from the fixture, and its wet location rating (indoor) means bathrooms, showers and covered laundry areas are fair game. Always follow your local electrical code and have the connection done by a qualified electrician.
