Built for one job, and it does it well
The CANOLIGHT middle connector is a purpose-built in-line coupler for the 360 degree high voltage LED strip light family. Where a generic splice forces you to improvise, this piece is dimensioned for the round profile of the CL-ST-360 strip so the two ends seat squarely against each other. The plug-and-secure body grips both segments mechanically while carrying current across the joint, which is what keeps a long architectural run looking like one continuous line instead of two pieces stuck together. It is a component, not a fixture — its whole value is in how invisible it makes the connection.
High voltage, not low voltage
This is the detail that trips people up when they shop for a LED strip connector. Low-voltage strip accessories are not interchangeable with high voltage ones. This connector is rated for high voltage applications on the CL-ST-360 series, which is exactly why it can hold a stable, safe electrical path through a joint on a long run. Third-party or mismatched connectors introduce resistance and heat buildup at the junction, and that shows up later as flicker, a dim section, or an outright dead segment in a spot you'd rather not open up again. Using the manufacturer-matched part also keeps you aligned with the system warranty.
Installation without tools
Installation is straightforward and tool-free: insert the two strip ends, lock them in, mount the run. Because there's no soldering iron and no heat shrink involved, the work is faster and much easier to do overhead on a ladder or lift. That matters most on ceiling perimeters, high coves, beams and wall recesses where the joint becomes inaccessible the moment the trim goes back on — a reliable first-time connection is the whole point. Plan your cut points before you install so each connector lands where you can reach it during the build, and keep the strip supported on both sides of the joint so the connector isn't carrying the weight of the run.
Where it gets used
The 360 degree LED strip format emits light in all directions, which is why it ends up in rope lighting, cove illumination, column wrapping, signage backlighting and architectural accent work. Think of a hotel lobby with a glowing line tracing the ceiling edge, a restaurant bar front, a retail column wrapped from floor to soffit, a channel letter sign lit from within, or a stairwell handrail in a condo common area. Every one of those jobs needs at least one mid-run joint, and this connector is what makes that joint disappear. On commercial projects in particular, having a handful on site streamlines the workflow and cuts installation time.
Documentation and reference
SKU CL-ST-360-11065-Middle connector. The technical PDF spec sheet for this connector is available in the Documentation tab of this page — download it before you order so your connector count matches your cut plan and your strip lengths. If you're specifying a full run, confirm that every segment you're joining belongs to the CL-ST-360 high voltage strip series, since this accessory is made for that series only.
