Built like emergency gear should beThe TL-EMRM platform is built around a steel housing with a
UL-94V-0 flame rating, fire-resistant by design, because an emergency unit has to keep working when conditions in the building are anything but normal. At 16.40" × 3.66" × 16.77" (L×W×H), this
320W metal battery pack is the biggest case in the series and is intended for
wall mounting. It carries a sealed lead-acid battery on a
24VDC load bus and arrives complete with two 5W LED heads rated 6500K — a crisp, clean white that reads clearly on floors, stair treads and exit paths during an outage.
Power, runtime and load planningInput is
120/347V, so the same unit serves a residential-scale 120V panel or a 347V commercial and industrial distribution without changing product. Capacity is
320W for 30 minutes, the standard egress duration. The published emergency runtime chart for this model gives you the full picture: 320W at 30 minutes (155 heads at 2W or 62 heads at 5W), 160W at 60 minutes (75 at 2W, 30 at 5W), 106W at 90 minutes (48 at 2W, 19 at 5W) and 80W at 120 minutes (35 at 2W, 14 at 5W). Two notes from the manufacturer matter on site: actual wattage loads may be affected by the length and gauge of the wire runs used to connect the remote heads, and it is recommended to load the battery pack 20% under its maximum.

Installation, testing and where it fitsMount the pack on the wall near the area to be protected, wire the 120V or 347V supply, then run your
remote emergency heads off the 24VDC output. The built-in
test switch and charge indicator light let a facility manager or electrician run the periodic test in seconds and confirm the battery is charging — no ladder gymnastics, no guessing. Remember this unit is
IP20, damp location rated and not intended for outdoor use, and that it needs an ambient between 5˚C and +35˚C, so an unheated loading dock or an exposed exterior wall is not the right home for it in a Canadian winter. Typical applications: warehouse aisles, manufacturing floors, school corridors, office towers on 347V, underground parking, gyms and retail back-of-house.
Family, alternatives and documentationThe TL-EMRM series is ordered by wattage and load voltage, and every model ships with the same 2 × 5W head configuration. If 320W is more capacity than your plan needs, the
144W 24VDC unit shares the same 24VDC bus, while the
72W 12VDC pack, the
95W 12VDC pack and the
34W steel battery unit with 3 ft cord cover smaller rooms and single-corridor jobs. The complete technical PDF for this SKU, including the dimensional drawing, the ordering guide and the full emergency runtime chart, is in the Documentation tab of this page.
