Low-profile design in die cast aluminum
The LERNA is constructed of die cast aluminum, which provides superior strength and rigidity, and its softened edges add up to a low profile aesthetic design. In black, this line voltage track fixture looks crisp on dark or exposed ceilings and adds a graphic accent against white ones. A single stem conceals the wiring, keeping the black track light clean and tidy from every angle.

Front loading gimbal for easy aiming
The LERNA is a front loading gimbal track light: it provides a directional light source for special aiming and assures a secure lock on the angle position. The lamp housing is controlled with an adjustable yoke offering 330° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical rotation, so you can wash a wall, graze a stone texture or pinpoint a single object on a shelf. Front loading also means the lamp goes in from the front of the fixture, which keeps relamping simple even on a busy sales floor.

Lamping, dimming and track compatibility
The medium base porcelain socket accepts 120V AC PAR20 or R20 lamps, 50 watts max, so a dimmable PAR20 LED lamp is an easy, energy-saving choice. The fixture is dimmable with electronic line voltage rated dimming controls only, with 120V / 60Hz input, 120V output and a 50W maximum load. The spec sheet states compatibility with the major track systems, including most brands configured to the H-style track design, and includes a connector compatibility chart. Accessories should be ordered separately, and the fixture is cULus listed.

Ideas for your space
Use a few heads as kitchen track lighting to highlight open shelving, feature products on a boutique wall, create gallery lighting for artwork in a hallway or add focused light over a reception desk. Since the lamp is standard, you can change the effect later simply by choosing a PAR20 lamp with a different beam or colour temperature. For white ceilings, the white Lerna PAR20 spotlight shares the same design, and the Lerna PAR30 spotlight takes a larger lamp for bigger spaces.
