    SORA 8W SPOTLIGHT

    SORA 8W SPOTLIGHT

    SKU: LCTL-SORA-BK-27K

    Brand: LEDCO

Meet the SORA 8W spotlight in black, an LED track light head that brings warm, gallery-quality accent light to your track. Also searched as a track lighting head, track spot or LED track fixture, this compact designer cylinder (SKU LCTL-SORA-BK-27K) aims a focused 38° beam at the artwork, shelving, kitchen island or display you want to highlight. With its 2700 K warm white light, it creates the cozy, inviting glow people love in living rooms, restaurants and boutiques, for residential and commercial projects alike.

Behind that smooth cylindrical shape is an 8W LED engine that maintains uniform intensity with a typical luminous flux of up to 611 lumens, at up to 76 lumens per watt. Its CRI of 90 renders colours faithfully, so paintings, fabrics, wood and food look natural. A colour matching aluminum heat sink provides maximum heat dissipation for a projected life of 35,000 hours, and a 7-year warranty backs it up. The head is dimmable from 100% to 10% with TRIAC dimming controls, runs on 120V with a 0.99 power factor and is cETLus listed. It tilts up to 90° and rotates 358° to spotlight in multiple directions, then locks securely on the angle position.

Picture it above a dining table in a Montréal loft, along the shelves of a Calgary wine bar or on a window display in a Winnipeg boutique. Approved for dry, indoor locations, it comes with an A-Line connector: check that it suits your track before installing. Prefer a crisper tone or another finish? See the SORA 8W spotlight in black, 3000 K, the SORA 8W spotlight in white, 2700 K or the SORA 8W spotlight in silver, 2700 K. Add a few heads and turn your track into flexible accent lighting!

    Designer body, smart thermal design
SORA is an aluminum designer track fixture with an 8 watt LED module. Its body features an aesthetically pleasing, smooth cylindrical shape, here in a black finish (SKU LCTL-SORA-BK-27K) that looks sharp on dark ceilings, exposed ductwork or in an industrial-style loft. The body includes a colour matching aluminum heat sink designed for maximum heat dissipation, because keeping LEDs cool is what protects their light output over the years.

    Light quality you can see
The 8W LED engine delivers up to 611 lumens with uniform intensity and up to 76 lumens per watt. A CRI of 90 keeps reds, skin tones, wood grain and fabrics true to life, a must for art, merchandise and food presentation. The 2700 K colour temperature gives a warm white reminiscent of a classic incandescent bulb, perfect for homes, restaurants and hospitality spaces. The 38° beam spread creates a well-defined pool of light: wide enough to cover a painting or a shelf, focused enough to create contrast.

    Aiming, dimming and electrical details
Adjustable up to 90° tilt and 358° rotation, the head can spotlight in multiple directions and assures a secure lock on the angle position. The fixture is 100% to 10% dimmable with TRIAC dimming controls (TRIAC/ELV dimming technology); compatible dimmers should be confirmed with the factory. It runs on 120V with a power factor of 0.99 and a THD under 20%, it is cETLus listed, and the spec sheet confirms LM80. Approved for dry, indoor locations, it is provided with an A-Line connector, so confirm that it matches your track, and have a qualified electrician install the track and its power feed.

    Where it makes a difference
In a Québec City bistro, a few SORA track heads highlight tables and a stone wall; in an Ottawa kitchen, they add focused light over the island; in a Vancouver boutique, they bring out the texture of new arrivals. At home, aim one at a bookcase, a sculpture or a staircase wall. Mixing tones or finishes on the same project? The SORA 8W spotlight in white, 3000 K is part of the same family. The spec sheet, with photometry, drawing and ordering guide, is in the Documentation tab.
