A new generation of track heads
This ARANI LED track head belongs to a new generation of track fixtures designed for shops, galleries, offices and modern homes. The housing is aluminum with a sleek black finish, the lens is polycarbonate and the connector is aluminum as well. Compact at 4-1/4 in (108 mm) high, 6-5/16 in (160.5 mm) wide and 2-7/16 in (62 mm) in diameter, and weighing 650 g, it installs on H-type track through its track adapter and aims precisely where the light is needed.
Light you can tune
With 5CCT technology, you choose among five colour temperatures: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K, with 2700K set by default. Warm tones flatter a living room or a restaurant, while 4000K or 5000K bring crisp, energizing light to a workshop, an office or a product display. Output reaches up to 1,150 lm at 5000K, with an efficacy of up to 75 lm/W. A CRI above 90 reveals true colours on fabrics, food and artwork, and a UGR below 16 keeps glare in check for visual comfort. The adjustable beam goes from 20° to 50°: narrow to make a single piece stand out, wider to wash a wall or a shelving unit.
Electrical details and installation
The head runs on 120 VAC at 15 W, a 90 W equivalent, with a maximum input current of 0.13 A, a power factor above 0.9 and THD below 20%. Built-in surge protection of 2,500 V adds peace of mind. It is dimmable with Triac phase-cut dimmers, so pair it with a compatible dimmer on the track circuit. It is rated for dry locations and an operating temperature of -20 °C to 45 °C, ideal indoors, from a heated boutique to a cool entrance hall. Mount it on H-type track, choose the CCT and the beam, and have the track circuit installed by a qualified electrician.
