Power, dimming and installation
Because it is a 12V DC constant-voltage product, the tape must be fed by a low-voltage LED driver sized to the length you install: multiply 4.8W per metre by your total run and leave headroom on the power supply. For smooth, flicker-free control, use the dimmable low-voltage power supplies from the same family — the spec sheet lists 12V dimmable drivers with Triac/phase, 0-10V, 1-10V, potentiometer and 10V PWM options — and always dim at the driver, not on the DC side of a non-dimmable unit. The tape is cuttable every 50mm (2") on the marked copper pads only; rejoin sections with the matching 3528 solderless connectors (seamless, single-end, double-end and L-connector versions are listed in the documentation) or solder for a permanent joint. Watch polarity (+/–) at every connection and feed long runs from both ends when needed.
