Built for clean, continuous lines of light
This is a flexible indoor LED tape built on the 2835 SMD platform, with 120 LEDs per metre packed along a slim 10mm-wide circuit board. That density matters: the tighter the chip spacing, the smoother the line, which is why this tape reads as a continuous glow rather than a string of dots — especially behind a frosted lens or an aluminum extrusion. The body measures W10 x H1.5mm (W3/8 x H1/16"), so it tucks into shallow channels, under cabinet valances and into millwork reveals that thicker strips simply can't fit. Double-sided 3M tape on the back handles mounting on clean, dry, smooth surfaces, and the 120° beam angle spreads light wide enough to wash a surface from close range.

At 3000K, this is classic warm white — the temperature most people want in kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms, hospitality spaces and retail displays where comfort and warmth sell the room. Output is 1575 lumens per metre (475 per foot) at 14.4W/M (4.4W/FT), a strong balance of brightness and efficiency for accent and task work. The CRI of >90 is the real differentiator: colour-critical spaces like boutiques, galleries, salons, restaurants and display cases need light that shows fabrics, food, artwork and finishes as they truly are, and CRI 90+ is the accepted benchmark for that.

Electrical, installation and dimming
Running at 24V DC is a practical advantage on longer runs: voltage drop is reduced compared to 12V, so colour and brightness stay consistent further from the feed point. You'll need a constant-voltage 24V DC LED driver sized to the total load — multiply 14.4W by your metre count and leave headroom. The 12" (30cm) wire lead on both ends makes it easy to feed from either end or run a return feed on long installations. Cut only at the marked 2" (50mm) increments, solder or use a proper connector at each joint, and mount on a clean, dry surface so the 3M adhesive grabs properly. The tape is fully dimmable with quality 24V PWM or CCR dimming systems, which lets you dial a kitchen from task-bright to late-evening low. With an IP22 rating, this is an indoor, dry-location product — keep it out of showers, exteriors and anywhere exposed to splashing.
