The TUROLIGHT HS/VERS decorative trims exist for one simple reason: the same LED surface discus should not look the same in a builder-grade hallway and in a designer kitchen. This 9" cylindrical trim in matte white slips over the round surface-mounted fixture and turns a slim disc into a cylinder with presence. The white-on-white treatment — white outer ring, white inner cylinder — keeps everything visually quiet, which is exactly what you want when the ceiling has several fixtures in a row and you do not want a dark ring interrupting the line.

This trim is made for the 9" LED surface discus, model RGD-HS/VERS/9/18W/MK5/WH/D (ordering code 3662202). That fixture draws 18 W at 120 V, delivers 1480 initial lumens, offers 5CCT selectable colour temperature, a CRI of 80 or more, a 120° beam angle, TRIAC dimming down to 5%, a damp location rating, cETL listing, an L70 rating at 50,000 hours and a 5-year limited warranty, in a PC housing with white finish. Those numbers belong to the fixture itself — the trim is the finishing piece that sits over it. Because the cylindrical shape adds height around the light source, it also softens the view of the lit face from the side, which is appreciated in hallways and stairwells where you walk straight toward the fixture.

Installation
Nothing complicated here, and that is the point. The discus fixture fits all types of J-box and mounts flat to the ceiling; the decorative trim is then installed over it, so an electrician can rough in and commission an entire project with plain fixtures and let the client choose finishes later. If a tenant changes, a room is repainted or a client decides the white cylinder should become a black or gold ring, you swap the trim instead of the fixture. Keep in mind the operating temperature range of the fixture, -10 ˚C to +45 ˚C, and the damp location rating when you plan covered porches, bathrooms or laundry rooms.

Think condo corridors, open-plan basements, bedrooms with low ceilings, dental clinics, spas, hair salons, small offices and retail fitting rooms — anywhere a 9" round fixture is the right scale and a flat disc feels too plain.
