It is not a light on its own — it is the visible face that mounts on the 7-inch discus fixture and changes its appearance from plain white to matt black with a gold inner ring. The trim measures 7.15 inches maximum outside diameter by 1.39 inches maximum outside height, so it adds presence to the ring without turning a slim surface downlight into a bulky ceiling fixture.
