Give your ceiling fixture a jewellery-grade finish with the HS/VERS 12" matte white/gold recessed trim. This is a decorative trim ring — also called a bezel, faceplate or decorative collar — designed for the TUROLIGHT HS/VERS LED Surface Discus family, the slim round ceiling pucks people usually search for as surface disc lights, flush mount LED ceiling lights or simply round "pot light" style fixtures. Model HS/VERS/12/WH/GD pairs a soft matte white face with a warm gold inner ring, so one small accessory turns a plain white disc into a designer piece. It is the easy way to match a fixture you already love to new cabinetry, new hardware or a new colour scheme, without changing the light itself.

This trim is built for the 12" size of the HS/VERS platform: it measures 11.87" maximum outside diameter and 1.39" maximum outside height, so it sits low and clean against the ceiling instead of bulking up the fixture. It is a decorative recessed trim only — it carries no wiring, no driver and no separate installation hardware to fuss with; it simply dresses the 12" discus luminaire it is made for. That host fixture (ordering code RGD-HS/VERS/12/24W/MK5/WH/D) runs at 24 W on 120 V, delivers 2000 initial lumens with CRI ≥80 and a 120° beam angle, is TRIAC dimmable down to 5%, is damp location rated, cETL listed and rated L70 at 50,000 hours — so the look changes, the performance doesn't.

Matte white with gold reads beautifully in entryways, hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms, walk-in closets, powder rooms and condo living spaces, and it's a favourite of Canadian renovators pairing brass or champagne-bronze hardware with white ceilings. Boutiques, salons, cafés and small offices use the same trick to warm up a clean commercial ceiling. Prefer a different look in the same 12" size? Compare the HS/VERS 12" matte white/matte white recessed trim, the HS/VERS 12" matt black/gold recessed trim, the deeper HS/VERS 12" matte white/gold canopy trim or the classic HS/VERS 12" brush nickel trim. Pick your finish and give the room its finishing touch.

What this accessory is
The HS/VERS/12/WH/GD is a decorative trim for the TUROLIGHT LED Surface Discus platform (family RGD-HS/VERS). The discus luminaire itself is the light engine — a slim round surface mount LED ceiling fixture — and the trim is the visible ring that frames it. Turolight builds this platform with a PC housing in a white finish, and offers several decorative trims so one fixture family can suit many interiors. Choosing the matte white face with the gold inner band gives you a soft, low-glare ceiling surface with a warm metallic accent, which is why designers reach for it in rooms where the ceiling is part of the décor.

Sizing and fit
Trims are size-specific, so the 12" trim goes on the 12" discus and nothing else. This one has a maximum outside diameter of 11.87" and a maximum outside height of 1.39", against the 0.7" profile of the bare 12" fixture — a deliberate step up that adds a bit of depth and shadow line to the ceiling. The matching host fixture is ordering code 3662203, model RGD-HS/VERS/12/24W/MK5/WH/D. If your ceiling opening or fixture is a smaller diameter, the same finish family exists in the other sizes of the platform, such as the HS/VERS 5" brush nickel trim for 5" discus units.

Light quality and electrical details of the host fixture
The 12" LED Surface Discus this trim dresses runs on 120 V, draws 24 W and produces 2000 initial lumens with a CRI ≥80 and a wide 120° beam angle for even, comfortable spread. It uses the MK5 selectable colour temperature switch, meaning five selectable colour temperatures chosen right on the fixture — handy when one order has to serve a warm bedroom and a crisper kitchen in the same home. It is TRIAC dimmable down to 5% with a compatible wall dimmer, is damp location rated, fits all types of J-box, is cETL listed, operates from -10 ˚C to +45 ˚C and is rated L70 at 50,000 hours with a 5-year limited warranty.

Applications and documentation
Think hallway runs in a bungalow, a bedroom ceiling above a brass-accented light fixture, a condo entry, a stairwell landing, a basement family room, or a boutique changing area where a black-and-gold or white-and-gold palette is already in play. Because the 12" discus is damp location rated, the trim also suits covered porches and bathrooms within the fixture's rated conditions. Mixing finishes in one project is easy: keep matte white on matte white in bedrooms, go matt black on matt black in a media room, or add the taller matte white/gold canopy trim where you want more presence. The full technical PDF (HS/VERS/12/WH/GD Spec Sheet) is in the Documentation tab, with the dimensional drawing, the ordering guide and the complete decorative trim table — handy when you're specifying several sizes at once.
