The HS/VERS decorative trims exist for one reason: one luminaire, many looks. The LED Surface Discus from TUROLIGHT is a slim surface-mount disc with a PC housing in a white finish, and the trims slip over it to match the room's hardware. The matte black and gold version — model HS/VERS/12/MB/GD, ordering code 3660412 — gives you a deep black outer band with a gold inner ring that catches the light as you walk under it. For renovators, that means you can standardize on one fixture across a whole floor and still give the kitchen, the hallway and the bedroom their own personality.

The host luminaire and its light
This trim is made for the 12" model of the family, ordered as RGD-HS/VERS/12/24W/MK5/WH/D (ordering code 3662202... see the spec sheet for the full ordering guide). That 12" disc draws 24 W at 120 V, delivers 2000 initial lumens, offers a CRI of 80 or more and a wide 120° beam angle for even, comfortable coverage. It is rated L70 at 50,000 hours, damp location rated, and uses an MK5 selectable colour temperature switch — that's 5 selectable colour temperatures, chosen on the fixture before install, so one product covers warm living spaces and crisp work areas alike. Operating temperature range is -10 ˚C to +45 ˚C, and the luminaire carries a 5-year limited warranty.

Installation and compatibility
The Surface Discus fits all types of J-box, which is exactly why it is so popular in retrofits: no new housing, no remodel can, no attic gymnastics. Mount the disc to the existing junction box, then install the decorative trim over it. Dimming is TRIAC, down to 5%, so a standard forward-phase wall dimmer gives you real low-end control for evenings and hospitality spaces; the luminaire is cETL listed for Canadian installs. Important compatibility note: trims are sized to the fixture, so this one works with the 12" HS/VERS disc only — 5", 7" and 9" discs need their own trim, such as the HS/VERS 5" brush nickel trim.
