Installation and compatibility
Cut power at the breaker, let the old halogen capsule cool, then pull it straight out and push the new dimmable G9 LED in until both pins seat fully. Handle the lamp by its body, not the pins. The single rule to respect: this bulb is for completely open fixtures only — chandeliers, open sconces, exposed-bulb pendants and similar. Installing it inside a sealed or enclosed housing traps heat and shortens life. Damp location approval means covered porches, bathrooms and similar humid spots are fine when the fixture itself is rated for that location. On dimming, use a quality LED-compatible dimmer and, for the smoothest low end, keep all lamps on the circuit identical — mixing wattages or brands is the usual cause of flicker.
