Made for service and feeder conduits
The ED-LNS-S200 is a 2 in steel locknut in a bag of 2, for residential and commercial projects. It finishes 2 in conduit connections the same way smaller locknuts do on branch circuits: the fitting passes through the knockout, the locknut threads onto its end inside the enclosure, and tightening it against the wall locks the fitting in place. At this size the conduit is heavy and rigid, so a firm, square seat is what keeps the whole service or feeder run straight and secure.
Matching fittings and equipment
Use it with 2 in threaded ends only: EMT set-screw and compression connectors, 2 in cable connectors, flexible metal conduit and liquid-tight connectors, threaded rigid conduit and threaded PVC terminal adapters. Knockouts of this size appear on main service panels, distribution panels, disconnect switches, splitters and wireways, large pull boxes and many transformer and equipment enclosures. With threaded rigid conduit entering through a knockout, installers often use one locknut outside and one inside the enclosure; the bag of 2 gives you exactly that pair, or a spare for the fitting whose nut went missing.
Installation pointers
Before touching a service or feeder, make sure the supply is safely disconnected. Open the 2 in knockout and deburr it, then insert the fitting from the outside. Start the steel locknut by hand, square to the threads, run it down to the inside wall and finish with a locknut wrench or a large pipe wrench until the fitting is completely solid. Install an insulating bushing where the electrical code calls for one. Service and feeder work belongs to a licensed electrician and must be inspected according to the rules of your province.

On the job
A service mast brought down into a new main panel during a home electrification project, a commercial unit fed by a large rigid conduit from the building's main electrical room, an underground PVC feeder rising into a distribution panel in a warehouse: each of these installations ends at a knockout where a 2 in locknut does the holding. Keeping a bag in the truck means the connection is finished the same day, properly tightened and ready for inspection. The manufacturer's PDF document is available in the Documentation tab for reference.
