Give your stairs, decks and walls a crisp, architectural touch with a square step light that works indoors and out. The LUMENSTARLED LS-SQ25-1W-WT-3K is the SQ25 square step light in white, a compact recessed LED step light for stair risers, landings, deck stairs, garden walls and hallways. Its square face offers a more contemporary look than a standard round fixture, perfect for modern homes and LED landscape lighting projects where every line counts.

Powered by 12V DC, it draws only 1W and delivers 118 lumens of 3000K warm white light with a CRI over 90, so wood, stone and painted surfaces look natural. It is IP65 wet location rated for indoor and outdoor use, operates from -20°C to +45°C, is dimmable, c ETL us listed and backed by a 3-year warranty. The fixture measures L50 x H50mm (2 x 2") and fits a Ø38mm (1 1/2") hole cutout, with a 30cm (12") waterproof lead for straightforward low voltage wiring.

Install the SQ25 on exterior stairs, deck risers, retaining walls, pool surroundings, entryways, basement stairs, theatre aisles and hotel or restaurant corridors across Canada. The white trim blends into light walls, white risers and pale cladding. For a metallic look, choose the SQ25 step light with satin nickel trim. Pair it with a 12V DC LED power supply and make every step safer and more beautiful today.

A modern square profile
The SQ25 step light brings a clean, geometric shape to stairs and walls. Its square face measures L50 x H50mm (2 x 2") and installs in a Ø38mm (1 1/2") hole cutout, which makes it easy to fit into stair risers, drywall, wood fascia, deck boards or stone veneer. The white trim of the LS-SQ25-1W-WT-3K gives a minimalist look on white and light coloured surfaces, while matte black and satin nickel trims exist in the same family for darker or metallic palettes.

Warm, high quality light
With 118 lumens from just 1W, the SQ25 provides enough light to clearly mark each tread and edge without glare. The 3000K warm white colour creates a welcoming atmosphere for homes, patios and hospitality spaces, and the CRI over 90 keeps the true colours of hardwood, carpet, tile and natural stone. Because the fixture is dimmable, you can set a low level for a discreet night path or raise it when guests are over.

Indoor and outdoor wet locations
Thanks to its IP65 rating for indoor and outdoor wet locations and an operating range of -20°C to +45°C, the SQ25 suits exterior steps, deck stairs, garden walls and pool decks as well as bathrooms, mudrooms and entrance stairs. The c ETL us listing supports code compliance on residential and commercial jobs, and the 3-year warranty adds peace of mind for homeowners and contractors alike.

Installation and power
The SQ25 runs on 12V DC low voltage. Drill the Ø38mm opening, pull the 30cm (12") waterproof lead through, connect it to your low voltage run and press the fixture into place. Keep the fixtures at a consistent height for a tidy line, add up the wattage of all step lights and select a 12V DC power supply with a safety margin that works with your chosen dimming method. The full spec sheet for the SQ25 is available in the Documentation tab.
