Each reel gives you a generous continuous length to wrap around an entire island, a full ceiling cove, a reception desk or a stairwell without stopping to splice and inject power every few feet. With 60 LEDs per foot on premium 2835 SMD chips, the light reads as a smooth line rather than a row of dots, which is exactly what you want behind a diffuser, inside a cove or under a cabinet.

This is a dimmable LED strip that runs at 1.8W/ft (6W/M) and delivers 160 lumens per foot (540 lumens per metre) — bright enough for real task light, gentle enough for accent work — with a 120° beam angle that fills a channel evenly. Wiring, dimming and installation
Plan your 24V DC driver around total connected wattage at 1.8W/ft (6W/M) and always leave headroom. The tape is fully dimmable when paired with a compatible 24V dimmable driver or an in-line dimmer on the low-voltage side, so it drops into residential dimming or a building control system. Cut only on the marked increment — every 6 LEDs, 3-5/16" (100mm) — and use solderless connectors or solder the pads for the most durable joint. Both ends carry a 12" (30cm) wire lead, which makes it easy to feed from either direction or run two lengths from one location. Clean and degrease the mounting surface before pressing the double-sided 3M tape; in an aluminum channel, the extrusion also acts as a heat sink and extends life. The IP22 rating means dry, indoor locations only — not showers, not outdoors, not in contact with water.
