Say goodbye to that tired old ceiling globe: the TUROLIGHT RIGID HS VERSATILE SLIM FLUSH MOUNT 12" is the slim LED disc that instantly modernizes any room. People look for it as a surface mount LED downlight, a "disc light", a low-profile ceiling light or simply a big round flush mount LED ceiling fixture — and this is exactly that: an LED Surface Discus that mounts flat against the ceiling, with no recessed can and no attic access required. It fits all types of J-box, so it's the go-to fix for hallways, bedrooms, closets, laundry rooms, entryways, stairwells, offices and corridors where you want plenty of light without losing headroom.

Under that clean white trim, 24W of LED delivers 2000 lumens — bright, even light spread through a 120° beam angle so the whole room gets covered instead of one hot spot. The MK5 code means 5 selectable colour temperatures (27/30/35/40/50), chosen right at installation, so the same box can go warm in a bedroom and crisp in a workshop. CRI ≥80 keeps skin tones, wood and paint colours looking honest, and the fixture is TRIAC dimmable down to 5% for real mood control. Runs on 120V, rated L70 at 50,000 hours, damp location rated, cETL listed, with a PC housing in white finish, a 5-year limited warranty and an operating temperature range of -10˚C ~ +45˚C. Dimensions: 11.8" × 0.7". SKU: RGD-HS/VERS/12/24W/MK5/WH/D.

At 11.8" across, this one is the "main light" of the room — living rooms, open basements, primary bedrooms, retail back rooms, clinic waiting areas, condo corridors and rental units across Canada. The damp location rating makes it a smart pick for covered porches, bathrooms and laundry areas where humidity is part of life, and the -10˚C low-temperature rating helps in cooler garages and entryways. Want a different look? The same 12" body accepts optional decorative trims like the HS/VERS 12" brushed nickel trim, the HS/VERS 12" matt black trim, the HS/VERS 12" matte white/gold recessed trim or the HS/VERS 12" matte white cylindrical trim. Pick your size, pick your trim, and light the room the way you want it.

Documentation

Built slim, built simple
The RGD-HS/VERS family from TUROLIGHT is an LED Surface Discus: a shallow round fixture with a PC housing in a white finish, designed to sit flat on the ceiling. At only 0.7" high, it reads almost like a recessed light but installs on the surface — perfect for concrete ceilings, insulated attics, tight joist spaces and any renovation where cutting a big hole is not an option. The white trim blends into most ceilings, and because it's a sealed disc, it doesn't collect bugs and dust the way an open globe does. Damp location rated and built for an operating temperature range of -10˚C ~ +45˚C, it holds up in bathrooms, covered porches and unheated entry areas.

Light quality you can adjust
This 12" model draws 24W and puts out 2000 lumens with a wide 120° beam angle, so light lands evenly across the floor instead of pooling in the centre. The MK5 designation means 5 selectable colour temperatures (27/30/35/40/50), set on the fixture at install time — one product covers warm residential spaces and cooler task areas, which cuts down on guessing when you order. CRI ≥80 renders colours faithfully for kitchens, closets and retail displays, and the L70 @ 50,000 Hrs rating means the light output stays useful for years of daily use.

Electrical and installation
The fixture runs on 120V and is TRIAC dimmable down to 5%, so it pairs with common forward-phase wall dimmers for movie-night levels in a basement or gentle night lighting in a hallway. It fits all types of J-box, which means a standard octagon, round or square box already in the ceiling is usually all you need — connect line, neutral and ground, select your colour temperature, mount and you're done. It's cETL listed and backed by a 5-year limited warranty. For dimming, keep loads on a compatible LED dimmer and avoid mixing incompatible fixture types on the same circuit for the smoothest low-end performance.

Applications, trims and documentation
Contractors use the 12" size as the single ceiling light in bedrooms, dens, finished basements and condo living rooms; small businesses use it in corridors, treatment rooms, salons, waiting areas and back-of-house storage. Because the same body takes different decorative trims, you can spec a builder-white look in one unit and a designer finish in another: try the HS/VERS 12" matt black recessed trim, the HS/VERS 12" matt black/gold recessed trim, the HS/VERS 12" matte white recessed trim or the HS/VERS 12" matte white/gold canopy trim — all sized for the 12" version.
