Design and constructionThe HERA is built as a slim flat panel rather than a traditional bar, giving you a full heated surface to drape a bath sheet over instead of a single rail. The spec sheet sums it up as high performance and impeccable design, and the unit is offered in a range of designer finishes — this SKU being the white version. Every unit comes with
robust color-matched metal brackets, so the mounting hardware disappears against the panel instead of breaking the line of your wall. With a depth of only
2.44", the warmer sits close to the finished surface and reads as an architectural detail beside a shower enclosure or a vanity mirror.
Heat performanceRated at
400 watts on
120V, this
electric towel warmer produces
258 BTU of heat output. The maximum surface temperature sits between
90 - 110 F, depending on model and ambient temperature, which is the sweet spot for drying terry cloth and keeping a towel pleasantly warm without any risk of scorching fabric. That same gentle output helps chase humidity out of a small, poorly ventilated bathroom — a real advantage in Canadian homes where winter condensation lingers on mirrors and grout.

Installation and electricalThe HERA uses a
hardwired connection (120 VAC), which eliminates visible wires and gives the cleanest possible finish — nothing to plug in, nothing dangling over the tile. Practically, that means bringing a 120 VAC supply to the mounting location and having the connection made by a licensed electrician in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code and your local bylaws. On a renovation, rough in the box before drywall or tile goes up and confirm the bracket height against the
26.8" x 19.3" panel so the warmer lands at a comfortable reach beside the shower door. The supplied color-matched brackets anchor the unit; on tile, plan appropriate anchors and keep the panel clear of the shower spray zone and away from curtains.
Where it works and documentationThis warmer is made for both residential and commercial projects: ensuites and family bathrooms, condo units, basement and guest baths, pool houses and cottages, plus spas, esthetics studios, physiotherapy clinics, gyms, salons and boutique hotel rooms where a warm towel is part of the experience. Specifiers doing multiple rooms often mix formats — a flat panel here, a ladder rail there — so it is worth comparing the
