Choose your lamp, shape your beamThe
E26 porcelain lamp socket takes 120V PAR20, R20, PAR16 or A19 lamps up to 50W max. Reflector lamps such as PAR20 and PAR16 are the usual choice for defined beams, while an A19 gives a softer glow. The lamp holder bracket is height adjustable up to 2 inches, and the adjustment screw varies the
beam spread angle from 20° to 110°, so you can tighten the light over a single plate or open it up across a buffet, right on site.
Installation and dimmingMounting is simple: the fixture attaches to an industry standard 4-inch octagon box, the same type of box used for many ceiling fixtures. It is
dimmable with industry standard TRIAC dimming controls and compatible dimmable lamps, so select a lamp rated for dimming. Accessories are ordered separately; the ordering guide lists 1-inch, 2-inch and 4-inch snoots (DNG-SN1, DNG-SN2 and DNG-SN4) in black or white, each with a golden interior. Have a qualified electrician complete the wiring.
Where it works bestPlace a row over a restaurant counter, centre one above a round breakfast table, light a coffee bar or a
kitchen island, or use several to structure an open-concept living and dining area. Because the beam is set on site, each fixture can be fine-tuned once the tables and chairs are in their final position. Want continuity on track? The
